Controller assemblies and packaging for electronic control systems of electric motors utilized in utility vehicles or other power equipment are disclosed. The controller assemblies are packaged for robust design and heat dissipation, while collectively housing the controllers, switches and sensors needed to operate multiple motors performing different functions, or the same function in serial.

Controller assemblies and packaging for electronic control systems of electric motors utilized in utility vehicles or other power equipment. Features of the controller assemblies and packaging described herein allow for, among other things, modularity, scalability, and improved heat transfer.

A dual pump apparatus for use on a vehicle or industrial application and having a pair of hydraulic pumps that are disposed in separate chambers within a housing. A pair of input shafts are disposed within the housing to drive the respective hydraulic pumps and one of the input shafts engages a prime mover. A charge pump may be mounted on an end cap, and trunnion arms for controlling the hydraulic pumps may extend out of opposite sides of the housing. An auxiliary pump may also be mounted on one of the input shafts and may be located either at the input end thereof or on the opposite side of the housing.

Dual pump transmission

A dual pump apparatus for use on a vehicle or industrial application having a housing in which a pair of hydraulic pumps are mounted, having a cooling fan mounted on the primary or secondary input shaft on the opposite side of the pulley used to engage the prime mover. A charge pump may be mounted on the end cap, and the trunnion arms for controlling the hydraulic pumps extend out of opposite sides of the housing. An auxiliary pump may also be mounted on the primary input shaft and may be located either at the input end thereof adjacent to the pulley, or on the opposite side of the housing.

An assembly and means for cooling a hydraulic pump comprising an electric fan mounted on a housing of the hydraulic pump. An upper shroud helps direct cooler air to the fan and helps prevent inadvertent contact with the fan blades. An optional controller can be attached that senses the temperature of the hydraulic pump and adjusts the speed of the fan accordingly.

A combination wheel retainer and axle shaft cover. The combination wheel retainer and axle shaft cover includes a retaining ring portion sized and arranged to mate with an axle shaft, a cover portion sized and arranged to generally overlay an end of the axle shaft, and a joining portion for connecting the retaining ring portion to the cover portion.

A hydromechanical transmission includes a hydrostatic transmission with coaxially arranged fixed and variable displacement hydrostatic units connected to a planetary gear set. The input shaft of the variable unit extends coaxially through the hollow shaft member of the fixed unit to drive the ring gear of the planetary gear set. The hollow shaft member drives the sun gear of the planetary gear set. An input clutch can be provided to allow the hydromechanical transmission to achieve zero output speed. A charge pump driven by the input shaft of the variable unit can be utilized to insure that the hydraulic units are primed whenever the input shaft turns. The input torque can be applied from either end of the variable unit. A power takeoff shaft option is available from the end of the transmission opposite the input.
