A method and apparatus are provided for implementing enhanced physical design quality using historical placement analytics in a design of an integrated gate. Mathematical data analysis is performed to determine placement trends in order to seed an initial placement of subsequent physical design placement processes. A placement seed is generated for a subsequent placement process.

Implementing enhanced physical design quality using historical placement analytics

An oscillating circuit includes a charge pump, a loop filter and a voltage controlled oscillator. The charge pump and the loop filter generates a differential voltage signal. The loop filter is responsive to the differential voltage signal and generates a filtered differential voltage control signal that is proportional to the differential voltage signal. The voltage controlled oscillator is responsive to the filtered differential voltage control signal and generates a periodic signal that has a frequency that corresponds to the filtered differential voltage control signal.

Power supply noise insensitive charge pump, loop filter, VCO control, and VCO

A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided for implementing physical interconnect fault source identification. Interconnect test data are processed and each unique failing chip combination is identified. Each common failing chip of the identified unique failing chip combinations is identified. A selected probability failure is reported for each identified common failing chip.
