Additive manufacturing systems and methods having an extrusion head with a nozzle. The nozzle extrudes a composite material from an orifice of the nozzle to form a layer of a component. The composite material has at least a matrix material and a reinforcing material. The nozzle extrudes the matrix and reinforcing materials from the orifice simultaneously. The width and height of the orifice are adjustable to control the width and thickness of the layer extruded therefrom. The width and thickness of the layer are the same as the width and height, respectively, of the nozzle orifice, while the nozzle is extruding the composite material through the orifice. The width and height of the nozzle orifice are perpendicular to each other and transverse to an extrusion direction from the nozzle orifice. A majority of a surface area of the reinforcing material is encapsulated within the matrix material after being dispensed from the nozzle.

Elastic additive manufactured parts having embedded woven layer for improved wear resistance, durability and electrical conductivity

A method for producing a label for affixing in a vehicle. The method includes printing of a substrate layer to yield a basic label form; production of an adhesive film with a first adhesive layer; and sticking the adhesive film to the basic label form using a second adhesive layer to produce the label. Also described is a label kit including a basic label form with a printed substrate layer and an adhesive film, wherein the adhesive film is configured to be stuck to a printed side of the substrate layer of the basic label form.

An interior component carrier system comprises a first and second installation rail. Each rail includes at least one connecting portion connectable to an associated primary structure component to fasten the rail to the component, and a carrier portion extending from the connecting portion in a direction along a longitudinal axis of the system. The system further comprises a first carrier element having a first end connected to a first carrier rod extending in a direction along the longitudinal axis and a second end connectable to a first interior component, wherein the first carrier rod is fastened to the carrier portion of the first rail, and a second carrier element having a first end connected to a second carrier rod extending in the longitudinal axis direction and a second end connected to the first carrier element, wherein the second carrier rod is fastened to the second rail carrier portion.

Interior component carrier system and method for mounting an interior component carrier system

An installation arrangement comprising a first carrier element configured to fasten an overhead luggage compartment thereto. The first element includes a main body comprising a tubular opening, a barrel-shaped component arranged inside the tubular opening, the component comprising a through hole extending substantially perpendicular to a component longitudinal axis, and a fastener to fasten a portion of the overhead luggage compartment to the main body of the first carrier element. A second carrier element of the arrangement is a rotary joint connectable to an installation rail, the rotary joint being movable around a longitudinal axis of the installation rail and an axis perpendicular to that longitudinal axis. The installation arrangement also comprises a rod configured to be coupled with the second carrier element and to fit inside the through hole, wherein the rod is connectable to the first carrier element when the rod is arranged inside the through hole.

Aircraft installation arrangement and installation system for mounting an overhead luggage compartment

A fixation assembly for affixing a first object to and variably spaced from a second object. The assembly comprises a male fastener and a female fastener. The male fastener comprises a bolt-shaped part having a circumferential outer surface. The surface includes alternately on a circumferential path, in a cross-sectional plane of the part, at least one ridged section and at least one plain section. The female fastener comprises a tubular part having a circumferential inner surface. The inner surface includes alternately on a circumferential path, in a cross-sectional plane of the part, at least one ridged section and at least one plain section. The male fastener can be inserted into the female fastener such that its ridged section coincides with the female fastener plain section. Either the male or female fastener is configured to be rotated relative to the other, thereby engaging respective ridges of the two fasteners.

Fixation assembly for affixing a first object to and variably spaced from a second object

An equipment mounting device and an installation arrangement for mounting an equipment to two fittings. The mounting device comprises a longitudinal carrier configured to be coupled to the equipment, and sized to span a space between the two fittings. A first coupling is disposed at a first end of the longitudinal carrier. The first coupling is configured to be coupled with a first of the two fittings and, when coupled with the first fitting, to prevent movement of the carrier in a first direction different from a direction along a longitudinal axis of the longitudinal carrier. A second coupling is configured to detachably couple with a second of the two fittings by receiving a part of the second fitting and, when coupled with the second fitting, to prevent movement of the carrier at least in the first direction and the direction of the longitudinal axis of the carrier.
