A coupling includes a claw part and an intermediate piece. The intermediate piece includes a tube piece produced from aluminum or from an aluminum alloy, and a buffer part received in an end region of the tube piece and including elastic damping elements for receiving the claw part. The damping elements are surrounded by the end region radially at an outside in a circumferential direction. The buffer part includes a part which is different from the damping elements and is produced from a material of a brittleness which is greater than a brittleness of the tube piece.

Coupling for industrial applications, and rail vehicle

An elastic coupling is provided and has first and second coupling parts that are rotatable relative to one another and engage one another via elastomeric elements. A coupling gap remains between the coupling parts. A marking is disposed on the outer edge of one of the coupling parts, and an indicator plate is disposed on the outer edge of the other of the coupling parts. The marking and indicator plate serve for a determination of a relative angle of torque of the coupling parts, wherein the marking and indicator plate are disposed on the coupling parts such that they are centered relative to one another. The marking and indicator plate abut the coupling gap.

Elastic coupling

An elastic coupling having two coupling sections is provided. A first coupling section has a plurality of spaced-apart pockets disposed along an arc. Elastomeric elements are positively held in the pockets, and the second coupling section has projections that extend into the first coupling section respectively between two adjacent elastomeric elements. The elastomeric elements comprise two regions having different properties. The first region, which extends radially and is held in the pockets of the first coupling section via its ends, is more inherently stable than is the second region for the transmission of a peripheral force. The second region, which respectively faces one of the projections of the second coupling section, is more yielding than is the first region such that deformations can be introduced into the second region with the effect of a slight restoring force.
