An ice dispensing system includes: a rotating bin having an inner surface, an outer surface, and an opening extending between the inner surface and the outer surface; at least one projection extending from the inner surface of the bin for directing ice within the bin; an input chute having a first end coupled to and in fluid communication with an ice making machine and a second end in fluid communication with the opening in the bin when the bin is in a first position; and an output chute in fluid communication with the opening of the bin when the bin is in a second position. The bin is configured to rotate from the first position to the second position and the opening has a geometry and size that directs ice within the bin and captures a regulated amount of the ice during rotation between the first position and the second position and dispenses the regulated amount of ice into the output chute when the bin reaches the second position.

Ice agitation and dispensing device and method

An ice dispensing system includes a rotatable barrel () having an opening (); an input chute () having a first end coupled to an ice making machine () and a second end in communication with the opening () when the barrel is in a first position; an output chute () in communication with the opening () when the barrel () is in a second position; a containment system () positioned around a portion of the body of the barrel (); and a drive system () coupled to the barrel () for rotating the barrel (). The opening () has a geometry and size () that directs the ice and captures a regulated amount of the ice during rotation between the first position and the second position. The regulated amount of ice is then dispensed into the output chute () when the barrel () reaches the second position.

The present invention relates to relates to electrical connectors, and in particular to a connector that replaces industry standard &ldquo;punch down block&rdquo; wiring devices to eliminate the need for rewiring when changing or re-routing multiple phone lines at a given location. The present invention provides for the connection of edge card connectors to punch down blocks or other wire terminating devices that are permanently connected to incoming and outgoing phone lines in a unique way by the use of jumpers that eliminate the need for rewiring when changing or re-routing multiple phone lines at a given location. A key advantage is that the invention makes the re-routing operation foolproof in that access to the permanently connected wiring is no longer necessary thereby eliminating the possibility of negatively affecting the integrity of the phone network by attempting to customize the wiring connections.

The present invention relates to electrical connectors, and in particular to an electrical connector providing a means for establishing an automatic grounded termination point for the connector upon disconnection of the connector from an external signal source or receiving device. In the absence of an external electrical connection, the connector will be configured to establishing an automatic grounded termination point to eliminate the effects of stray capacitances, spurious extraneous signals and signal reflections on the circuitry connected to conductor. When coupled to an external connector, the connector ground connection will be broken to permit establishing a signal path for external circuitry. Also, a capacitive material can optionally be placed in series with the grounding resistive element assembly to block direct current to the resistive element in its grounded state that would otherwise overheat and damage the electrical resistor material.
