The present disclosure provides a modular insert float system and method that can be inserted into a casing and attached to the casing internal surface by internal slips and sealing components. The system is modular in that three main components: an upper valve assembly, a lower valve assembly, and a pair of casing anchor and seal assemblies along with top and bottom shoes form a kit that can be used for virtually any casing of a given size regardless of the threads, casing material grades, length of joint, or other variations. Further, the system allows for insertion of the casing into the wellbore without damaging the formation from forcing wellbore fluid into the formation and causing the loss of wellbore fluid in the wellbore.

Techniques for separately accounting for multiple transactions in the same data packets communicated over a network using Transport Control Protocol (TCP) include receiving an Internet Protocol (IP) data packet that includes Transport Control Protocol (TCP) payload data. The TCP payload is parsed to determine boundary data that indicates a byte location on a boundary between a first transaction and a second transaction. A byte count that indicates a number of bytes in the TCP payload associated with the first transaction is determined based on the boundary data. Accounting data for the first transaction is determined based at least in part on the byte count. These techniques allow a service gateway to bill separately for different requests and responses carried in TCP data packets, such as those for Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) and Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP).

Techniques for accounting for multiple transactions in a transport control protocol (TCP) payload

A method for providing single point-of-presence for a network element includes receiving a packet at a network processor, determining if the packet is to be directed to a particular one of a plurality of traffic processors if a source address of the packet is associated with a subscriber terminal, and determining if the packet is to be directed to the particular one of the plurality of traffic processors if a destination address of the packet is associated with the subscriber terminal. The method further includes distributing the packet to the particular one of the plurality of traffic processors.

Maintaining a content category cache includes storing the content category cache at a gateway. The content category cache includes content category mappings, where a content category mapping associates content with one or more categories describing the content. A request requesting content for a user is received. One or more categories associated with the requested content are determined from a content category mapping of the content category cache. The requested content is filtered in accordance with the categories.

A method for protecting firewall load balancers from a denial of service attack is provided. Packets are received by the firewall load balancer. Each packet has a source and a destination. The firewall load balancer is equipped with a connection database that can contain entries about the packets. Upon receipt of a packet, the connection database is queried to determine whether or not there is an entry for the received packet. If an entry is found in the database, the packet is forwarded to its destination. Otherwise, if the packet was received from a firewall, then a new connection entry for the packet is built and is saved to the connection database and the packet is forwarded on to its destination. If the packet does not have an entry (match) in the connection database and the packet was not received from a firewall, then the packet is forwarded to a firewall.

A platform assembly is provided for use in combination with a vehicle including a vehicle seat having a seat bottom, seat back, and a head rest. The platform assembly is supported by the seat to carry articles for ready access by an occupant of the vehicle. The platform assembly includes a platform defining a flat slip-resistant surface area for supporting articles thereon, and for preventing substantial shifting of the articles while the vehicle is in motion. An adjustable attachment strap is secured to a back end of the platform, and extends upwardly from the platform adjacent to the seat back for removable attachment to the headrest. The attachment strap permits leveling adjustment of the platform, and unobstructed access by the vehicle occupant to the articles supported on the platform.

A hinge assembly having a strip shaped like a lower case h which attaches to a supporting surface and a generally U-shaped clamping member. The end of one of the legs of the clamping member attaches to the end of the top leg of the h. This attachment location forms the point of rotation of the hinge. The U-shaped strip has ribs down the inner sides of the legs. Along the base of the legs of the U, there are holes. To install, a sheet of glass is place in the slot formed by the legs of the U. A threaded screw is inserted through the holes in the first leg of the U. When the threads of the screw reach the hole on the opposed side, they engage the threads there. The screw is turned until the head of the screw reaches the base of the hole in the first side of the U. As turning continues, the screw begins pressing the legs of the U together. This presses the ribs firmly again the glass, thereby providing a firm hold on the glass.

A piston rotor and a chamber partitioning rotor are continuously rotated unidirectionally about fixed rotational axes intersecting at an acute angle within a spherical chamber enclosed by a housing. Simultaneous rotation of the rotors and relative angular movement therebetween occurs because of a pivotal joint interconnecting such rotors at the intersection of the rotational axes coinciding with the geometric center of the spherical chamber. Pressure cavities formed between the rotors within the spherical chamber are volumetrically varied in response to the relative movement of the rotors. For internal combustion engine operation, port controlling dome segments within the chamber are rotated at a reduction drive ratio to the chamber partitioning rotor through planetary gearing.
