Prediction, detection and mitigation of network or device issues in a communication system are facilitated. An embodiment can comprise: determining whether an identified problem of a device has an associated defined solution stored in a repository of information; transmitting solution information representative of the associated defined solution to the device for application of the solution information to the device in a manner determined to have less than a defined amount of impact on the device and in accordance with defined security protocols of the device; and assessing a performance of the device after application of the solution information to the device to determine whether the solution information solved the identified problem. In some embodiments, solution detection can be performed such that based on a determination that the identified problem has been removed, the change that caused the identified problem can be determined.

System facilitating prediction, detection and mitigation of network or device issues in communication systems

Compensation is provided for foreign interference within a cell. Uplink (UL) noise on an UL channel to a first base station (BS) device is detected. Whether the UL noise includes interference is determined. Interference can include any device other than a mobile device configured to communicate with a BS device associated with a cell. The first service area of the BS device can be modified, e.g., scaled based on determining that the UL noise includes interference. Scaling can include reducing the first service area to a second service area that does not include an imbalance region in the first service area caused by the foreign interference. Scaling can be effected by reducing the amount of downlink power from the first BS device, or by adjusting a re-selection parameter associated with reducing the range of the BS device.

Facilitation of self-adjusting network uplink noise balancing

Systems, methods and/or machine-readable storage media facilitating prediction, detection and mitigation of network or device issues in a communication system are provided. Compensation is provided for foreign interference within a cell. Uplink noise on an uplink channel to a first base station device is detected. Whether the uplink noise includes foreign interference is determined. Foreign interference can include any device other than a mobile device configured to communicate with a base station device associated with a cell. The first service area of the base station device can be modified, e.g., scaled based on determining that the uplink noise includes foreign interference. Scaling can include reducing the first service area to a second service area that does not include an imbalance region in the first service area caused by the foreign interference. Scaling can be effected by reducing the amount of downlink power from the first base station device, or by adjusting a re-selection parameter associated with reducing the range of the base station device.
