A fan is provided that includes a fan blade movable relative to a housing. The housing and the fan blade are configured such that the fan generates a pink noise sound profile both when air is exiting the fan housing through an air outlet vent and when air is not exiting the housing through the outlet air vent.

An insect elimination device has an outer grid with an inner grid disposed within the outer grid. A voltage source powers the inner grid, the outer grid or both. A warming tube is disposed within the inner grid and provides a thermal lure. A UV light source is disposed within the warming tube to provide a first optical lure. A control circuit controls the duty cycle, which is greater than 0% and less than 100%, of the UV light source while the voltage source is powering the elimination zone of the inner grid and the outer grid to keep the thermal lure within a predetermined temperature range.

Insect attracting and eliminating device

A pest trap, such as for flies, includes a disposable bag with a lure therein, and a sealing mechanism set at or near the top of the bag. The sealing mechanism engages with a removable top, which covers a canister. The bag with sealing mechanism is connected to the top, and then the top is placed on the canister, with the disposable bag in the canister. Once the bag has become filled with pest insects, the sealing mechanism is activated, which seals the top of the bag and separates the bag from the top. The top can then be removed from the canister, and the canister upended to dump the disposable bag into the garbage.
