A plate-like functional component and method of making same, in particular a gate plate of an automatic gear shift mechanism with locking gate is provided. The gate plate includes engagement holes for engagement elements which kinetically interact with the functional component. To allow high mechanical forces to be transmitted using this component while simplifying its production, and to as far as possible avoid impact noises during interaction with engagement elements which are guided inside the holes, it is provided that the functional component comprises, in sandwich form, three stamped parts, which bear flat against one another, and are unreleasably connected to one another. Each stamped part has at least two engagement holes for engagement elements which kinetically interact with the functional component. The engagement holes in the stamped parts are arranged congruently with respect to one another. At least one of these holes, in the middle stamped part, has a hole wall which is provided with an elastomeric plastic cover.

Gear shift mechanism gate plate assembly and method for producing same

An adjustable foot-lever assembly which has an outer pedal-bearing block held fixed to the vehicle, and an inner pedal-bearing block connected to the outer pedal-bearing block. A pedal is articulated on the inner pedal-bearing block. An articulation point is provided on the inner pedal-bearing block for a transmission element to a device to be actuated by the pedal. The position of the pedal can be set in a simple way to an operating position optimized in ergonomic terms by providing that during adjustment, the pedal executes in relation to the inner pedal-bearing block a movement which is composed of a translational movement and of a rotational movement.

A clamping device for a steering column (6) which is guided in fixed mounting arms (4, 5) and comprises a tie bolt (7) which is arranged at right angles to the steering column (6), the tie bolt (7) extends between the two mounting arms (4, 5), there being arranged on one end of the tie bolt (7), between a thrust washer (11a) and the mounting arm (4), a clamping washer (12a) comprising clamping ramps (13a) on which rolling elements (14a) are supported while being guided in a retention disc (15a) mounted for rotation on the tie bolt (7), the retention disc (15a) can be rotated by means of a hand lever (19), and, depending on a direction of rotation of the retention disc (15a), the mounting arms (4, 5) effect a clamping or a releasing of the steering column (6), characterized in that the clamping device (1a) comprises a pot-shaped housing (2) which bears against the mounting arm (4) by a bottom (3) and encloses all the clamping means, the housing (2) is closed at one end by a thrust washer (11a), while the clamping ramp (13a) of the clamping washer (12a) has a contour which changes continuously from a zero position up to a clamped position.
