An actuating device for shifting stages of a transmission, wherein a displaceable actuator for the manual selection of a shift stage (or driving mode) is provided, which can be adjusted into a plurality of positions. At least some or each of the positions can be assigned necessary conditions for the engagement of a shift stage assigned to the position. If the actuator is displaced into a position for which the conditions necessary for the same are not fulfilled, the associated shift stage is not engaged in the transmission and corresponding first signaling is carried out. Fulfillment of the necessary conditions of the associated shift stage following the displacement of the actuator into the position assigned to the shift stage or following the displacement in the direction of the associated position for the associated shift stage leads to the shift stage in the transmission being engaged.

Actuating device

A shift device for an automated or automatic transmission, in particular of a motor vehicle, has a manual selector lever which can be moved into the following stable selector lever positions: P, R, N and E and into four non-stable selector lever positions. Here, the stable selector lever positions are all arranged in alignment in a shift gate. Here, a stable selector lever position E is provided which is arranged in alignment with the stable selector lever positions in the shift gate and, here, is situated between two non-stable tilt positions +/&#x2212;, which are arranged in alignment with the selector lever positions P, R and N, for step-by-step or multiple shifting, and in a transverse gate, which runs transversely with respect to the shift gate, between the two non-stable selector lever positions D and M arranged in the transverse gate.

Shift device for an automated or automatic transmission

A shifting device for an automatic transmission of a motor vehicle with a gear-shift lever, which can be moved in an automatic shift track to select gear-shift positions; with a locking mechanism for blocking the adjusting movements of the gear-shift lever into at least one gear-shift position and/or out of at least one gear-shift position; and with a release button arranged on the gear-shift lever to release the blocking action of the locking mechanism. An increased level of functional reliability can be achieved by establishing a drive connection between the release button and two blocking elements, which are arranged redundantly on the gear-shift lever with the freedom to move up and down, that an actuation of the release button produces a synchronous stroke of the two blocking elements, where each of the blocking elements cooperates with an arresting gate comprising gate sections assigned to the gear-shift positions.

Shifting device for an automatic transmission

A selector device for an automated or automatic transmission, in particular of a motor vehicle, has a selector lever for selecting automatic shift stages and gears of the transmission. It being possible to move the selector lever from a stable initial position into a plurality of directly adjacent labile selector positions for selecting the automatic shift stages and the gears, from which labile selector positions, the selector lever automatically returns into the initial position. The selector device further has a display for visualizing the currently engaged gear and/or the currently activated automatic shift stage. To increase operating comfort, the selector lever can also be moved from the initial position into a stable rest position, from which the selector lever can be moved only in the direction of the initial position.

Selector device for a transmission

A shifting mechanism for an automated or automatic transmission includes a selection lever that can be shifted in a first shift gate between automatic selection stages. The selection lever can be shifted, via a first lateral gate, to a second shift gate in order to allow the manual selection of individual transmission gears, and via a second lateral gate, with which various modes, for example an automatic or a manual mode, can be activated using the selection lever. In addition to three stable positions for the selection stages, the selection lever has a fourth stable position, from which all driving modes can be set.

Shifting mechanism for an automated or automatic transmission

A selector device for an automated or automatic transmission, in particular of a motor vehicle, has a selector lever which is adjustable in an automatic selector gate to switch between automatic operating positions and can be moved via a transverse gate into a tip-action selector gate in which it is adjustable to shift between transmission gears. Here, the selector lever has one stable operating position in the tip-action selector gate, to which stable operating position the selector lever automatically returns from all the labile positions of the three gates. To increase operating comfort and to increase operational safety, a transmission controller is configured such that, after an automatic operating position is selected, it only switches to the selected automatic operating state when the selector lever resumes its stable operating position.
