A device for a seat, includes: a docking unit that is designed for connection to a mobile terminal in order to allow a data transfer from the mobile terminal to at least one media unit; and a control unit that is designed to record at least one context parameter that specifies a current surroundings situation of the device; and to actuate at least one functional unit based on the at least one context parameter in order to adjust a setting of the at least one functional unit to the current surroundings situation such that a user is able to use the at least one media unit.

An ultra-small cell base station for a vehicle is coupleable, for signal exchange, to a first antenna assembly, which is configured to receive radio signals of a cellular radio user device situated inside the vehicle and to emit radio signals to be received by the user device. The ultra-small cell base station is also coupleable to a second antenna assembly, configured to receive radio signals of a further cellular radio user device situated outside the vehicle and to emit radio signals to be received by the further user device. The ultra-small cell base station is also coupleable to a network-side antenna assembly of the vehicle configured to receive radio signals emitted by a pre-defined static cellular radio base station and to emit radio signals to be received by the static base station. The ultra-small cell base station is configured to operate a first and a second small cell.

A method for the longitudinal control of a vehicle, in which information of a navigation system is detected and in which, as a function of the information of the navigation system, a desired value of at least one parameter for the longitudinal control is defined, during a longitudinal control operation, on the basis of a defined desired distance from a preceding vehicle by means of information of the navigation system. The probability is determined with which the preceding vehicle and/or the own vehicle is cornering when the preceding vehicle is no longer detected. A longitudinal acceleration takes place in a time-delayed manner when the probability is greater than a defined threshold.
