The present invention relates to a ceramic material for a multilayer capacitor. The ceramic material has a composition according to the following general formula:PbCaA(ZrTi)EFeNbWO, Further, the invention includes a capacitor comprising the described ceramic material.

Ceramic material for capacitor

A multi-layer capacitor including a capacitor element having at least two segments. Each segment includes multiple layer planes, including ceramic dielectric layers and electrode layers arranged therebetween, which are arranged in a layer sequence one above the other. The electrode layers include different electrodes, including at least first and second electrodes. The different electrodes overlap in active regions but not in passive regions. Multiple segments are arranged one above the other in a stack direction. The outermost dielectric layers of two segments form a connection region in which the segments are fixedly connected to each other parallel to the layer planes. The connection region contains a relief region. The relief region occupies at least the entire passive region of the capacitor.

Ceramic material and capacitor comprising the ceramic material

A capacitor arrangement includes at least one ceramic multilayer capacitor with a main body having ceramic layers and first and second electrode layers arranged therebetween. The capacitor also has a first external contact and a second external contact on mutually opposite side surfaces. The first external contact is electrically conductively connected to the first electrode layers and the second external contact is electrically conductively connected to the second electrode layers. A contact arrangement includes two metallic contact plates, between which the at least one ceramic multilayer capacitor is arranged. The first and second external contacts are electrically conductively connected in each case to one of the metallic contact plates.

Piezoelectric ceramic material, method for the production thereof, and multilayer component

A ceramic material includes first and second ceramic materials. The first ceramic material has a perovskite structure and defines a host lattice. The first ceramic material contains lead, zirconium and titanium, e.g., lead zirconate titanate. The second ceramic material has a cryolite structure.
