Disclosed is a base inliner comprising a textile sheet material and a reinforcement, wherein said reinforcement absorbs a force so that, in a stress-strain diagram (at 20.degree. C.), the load at an elongation within the range between 0 and 1% differs by at least 10% at at least one location for said base inliner with said reinforcement compared with said base inliner without said reinforcement, preferably by at least 20%, particularly preferably by at least 30%. The base inliner is useful for producing optionally bituminized roofing and sealing membranes.

Base inliner, production thereof and use thereof

Disclosed is a base inliner comprising a textile sheet material and a reinforcement, wherein said reinforcement comprises monofilaments whose diameter is at least 0.1 mm, preferably between 0.1 and 1 mm. The base inliner is useful for producing optionally bituminized roofing and sealing membranes.

Described is a composite comprising at least one textile sheet construction composed of synthetic polymer and hybrid yarn comprising reinforcing fiber and lower melting bonding fiber. Also described is a net comprising in at least one direction hybrid yarns composed of reinforcing fiber and of lower melting bonding fiber. The composites can be used for producing bituminized roofing and sealing membranes.

There is described a thermally stable, binder-consolidated spunbonded web formed from load-carrying filaments and binder filaments where the melting point of the binder filaments is less than 30.degree. C below that of the load-carrying filaments. The binder and the load-carrying filaments are preferably made of polyesters. The basis weight of the spunbonded web is within the range between 50 and 500 g/m.sup.2, the denier of the load-carrying and the binder filaments is within the range between 1 and 20 dtex, and the proportion of binder filament is between 5 and 25 percent by weight. The web has a particularly high thermal resistance, i.e. a particularly high resistance to high downstream processing temperatures. It is usable for example as a support material for roofing membranes and as a tufting support and so on.

Thermally stable, binder-consolidated spunbonded web

A spun-bonded fabric consolidated by a hot-melt binder, composed of polyester filaments and of polyester binder filaments serving as the hot-melt binder is described. The weight per unit area of the spun-bonded fabric is in the range between 20 and 120 g/m.sup.2, the individual titer of the load-bearing filaments and of the binder filaments is in the range between 1 and 7 dtex, and the proportion of the binder filaments is less than 10 percent by weight. This is a lightweight spun-bonded fabric which is distinguished by a particularly high dynamic capability, i.e. a particularly high resistance to alternating stresses. The lightweight spun-bonded fabric can be used, for example, as a reinforcement for shoes and garments, as a carrier material for curtains and blinds, as seat covering, filter material, and the like.

Spun-bonded fabric consolidated by a hot-melt binder

There is described a support web for roofing membranes which comprises a spunbonded made of polyester filaments. The spunbonded has a basis weight of from 50 to 100 g/m.sup.2 coupled with a filament denier of from 1 to 8 dtex and has been consolidated with a fusible binder. This produces a high tear propagation resistance and nail pullout strength and also good dimensional stability at high temperatures. The spunbonded support web is therefore particularly suitable for bitumenized roofing membranes.

Support web for roofing membranes

A support web is described for roof foundation webs which comprises a spunbonded web of polyester filaments. The spunbonded web has a basis weight of 50 to 100 g/m.sup.2 and a filament denier of 1 to 8 dtex. It has been thermomechanically preconsolidated by means of a smooth calender and end-consolidated by means of a binder. This produces a high tear propagation resistance and nail removal resistance and good dimensional stability at high temperatures. The spunbonded web is therefore particularly suitable for use as a support web for bituminized roof foundation webs.
