Apparatus and method for the insertion of films in tablet presses

The invention relates to a device for transferring, depositing and positioning films that are used as cores in coating-core tablets, in matrices of tablet presses, said device comprising at least three modules, a. module 1 () comprising at least one storage unit that contains the films, and/or at least one supply unit that supplies the films for transfer by a second module, b. module 2 () comprising at least one transfer unit, at least one conveyor belt () and at least one intake wheel (), c. module 3 () comprising at least one controllable vacuum head () which comprises a removal device that removes the films from the carriers () of module 2 () using a vacuum and deposits them in the matrices of the tablet press ().

The invention relates to a method for inserting inserts (cores) into female molds of a rotary tableting press. The inserts are inserted individually into one female mold each of a rotating rotor of the rotary tableting press by separating the inserts from a nonspecific quantity by means of a feeder mechanism, feeding them to a core distributor and aligning them from there with the female molds in a precisely defined position and delivering the inserts to the female molds in this position.

The present invention pertains in general to a motor-driven hand-held massaging device for body massage, with a cosmetic or medical massaging substance optionally fed in and consists of a housing with a grip part, a storage chamber for the massaging substance, and a massaging means. The invention relates to a press for producing coated-core tablets, and includes a rotor 1 with a die table 4 provided with dies 14, and upper and lower sections 3, 4 for guiding the upper or lower stamps, 9, 11, resp., in the dies 14, radial arms 25 with transfer heads 34 for receiving and transferring the cores 17, and receiving pockets 16 associated to the radial arms for the cores 17. In order to allow, for a size as small as possible of the press, that synchronism of the transfer heads 34 and of the dies 14 during transfer of the cores is secured in simple manner and without friction and noise resulting therefrom, it is provided, according to the invention, that the radial arms 25 are supported in the form of pistons 26 in the rotor 1, and that the receiving pockets 16 are arranged at the die table 5.

A rotary press for pressing tablets or other cylindrically shaped bodies is provided including a rotor with a die table, an upper section and a lower section. The upper section includes an upper rotatable bushing which supports an upper stamp slidably and non-rotatably. The lower section includes a lower rotatable bushing. The lower rotatable bushing supports a lower stamp slidably and non-rotatably. The upper and lower section each include stationary serrated sections which engage serrated sections provided on the rotatable bushings.
