In a device for the temperature control of microcomponents, in particular micro-reactors, which preferably have a plate-shaped design and preferably consist of silicon, at least one microcomponent is pressed against a temperature-control element in a holder. A flat heat-conducting connection exists between the microcomponent and the temperature-control element.

Multilayer interference pigment consisting of plateletlike titanium dioxide as carrier material, coated with alternating layers of metal oxides of low and high refractive index, the difference in the refractive indices being at least 0.1, which is obtainable by solidification and hydrolysis of an aqueous solution of a thermally hydrolyzable titanium compound on a continuous belt, detachment of the resulting coat, coating of the resulting titanium dioxide platelets, with or without drying in between, by a wet method with, alternately, a metal oxide hydrate of high refractive index and a metal oxide hydrate of low refractive index by hydrolysis of the corresponding, water-soluble metal compounds, separation, drying and, if desired, calcining of the material obtained.

Multi-coated interference pigments

A coupling for microcomponents has several essentially plane-parallel plates with line connections for delivering and discharging liquid or gaseous components. The line connections are mounted on a connection block which protrudes through openings in the plates with fixing segments that engage a pressure plate retained by a clip. The line connections open out in an area of line bores in the plate.

Micro mixer

The inventive micromixer for mixing liquid, viscous or gaseous phases has a housing bottom part ( ) and a housing top part ( ) which lie closely against each other via connecting surfaces ( ). Two delivery channels ( ) and an outlet channel ( ) open out into the dividing surface between the two connecting surface ( ). Channel grooves ( ) which cross each other several times are formed in one connecting surfaces ( ) and provide a mixing section for the phases being mixed.

Micromixer

A housing for micromixers has two flat circular disk-shaped housing parts situated adjacent to each other in a parting plane. Each of the housing parts has a truncated cone surface on its peripheral edge. A multipart clamping ring which can be tightened in the peripheral direction encompasses the two housing parts and is adjacent to the truncated cone surfaces.

Colored pearl luster pigment consisting of a core of platelet shaped titanium dioxide and one or more layers of other metal oxides or metal oxide hydrates obtainable by solidifying an aqueous solution of a thermally hydrolyzable titanium compound on a continuous belt, detaching the resulting layer, coating the resulting titanium dioxide platelets, with or without drying in between, with one or more other metal oxides or metal oxide hydrates, for example Fe,O,, Fe,O,, FeOOH or Cr,O,, by a wet method, separating, drying and, if desired, calcining the material obtained.
