The present invention relates to a method for producing a gypsum-containing foamed prefabricated building material and to a gypsum-containing foamed prefabricated building material.

Method for treating gypsum

The invention relates to a pulverulent composition which can be produced by bringing a powder which comprises at least one inorganic binder into contact with from 0.01 to 10% by weight, based on the total mass of the composition, of a liquid component comprising at least one copolymer which can be obtained by polymerization of a mixture of monomers comprising (I) at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer which comprises at least one radical selected from the group consisting of carboxylic acid, carboxylic acid salt, carboxylic esters, carboxamide, carboxylic anhydride and carboximide and (II) at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer having a polyalkylene oxide radical, where the liquid component contains at least 1% by weight of the at least one copolymer and at least 30% by weight of an organic solvent. Furthermore, a process for producing the liquid component, the use thereof and also specific copolymers are disclosed.

Powder composition for rapid suspension

The invention relates to a pulverulent composition preparable by contacting a powder with 0.01 to 50 wt %, based on the overall mass of the composition, of a liquid component comprising at least one copolymer obtainable by polymerizing a mixture of monomers comprising (I) at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer which comprises at least one radical from the series carboxylic acid, carboxylic salt, carboxylic ester, carboxylic amide, carboxylic anhydride, and carboxylic imide and (II) at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer having a polyalkylene oxide radical, the liquid component comprising at least 1 wt % of the at least one copolymer and at least 30 wt % of an organic solvent, and the powder which is contacted with the liquid component comprising no inorganic binder. Further disclosed is a binder composition which comprises a pulverulent composition of the invention and an inorganic binder.

Method for producing a prefabricated building material

The invention relates to a dispersant comprising a polymer obtainable by copolymerization of monomers including 5 to 80 mol % of a hydroxyalkyl acrylate phosphate and/or hydroxyalkylacrylamide phosphate (monomer 1), 0 to 20 mol % of a di(hydroxyalkyl acrylate) phosphate and/or di(hydroxyalkylacrylamide) phosphate (monomer 2) and 1 to 80 mol % of a polyalkylene glycol-containing macromonomer comprising an alkene group (monomer 3). Further disclosed is a process for preparing the polymers of the invention and the use thereof as dispersants in calcium sulphate-containing compositions. A further aspect of the invention is a process for producing shaped gypsum bodies, and also shaped gypsum bodies, more particularly gypsum plasterboards and self-levelling screeds, comprising the dispersant of the invention.

Polymeric dispersant

The present invention relates to a composition comprising (&#x3b1;) at least one inorganic binder and (&#x3b2;) at least one water-soluble copolymer based on (a) 0.1 to 20 wt % of at least one monomer of the formula (I) and (b) 25 to 99.9 wt % of at least one hydrophilic monomer (b) which is different from monomer (a), where the at least one copolymer has a molar mass average M of 1 500 000 to 30 000 000 g/mol. Furthermore, a process for producing this composition is disclosed. A further aspect of the present invention is the use of the copolymer of component (&#x3b2;) as rheological additive in a composition of the invention.

Inorganic binder composition comprising a copolymer

The invention relates to a pulverulent composition comprising, based on the overall mass of the composition, A) at least 20 wt % of a calcium sulfate-based binder and B) 0.01 to 4 wt % of at least one copolymer obtainable by polymerizing a mixture of monomers comprising (I) at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer which comprises at least one radical from the series carboxylic acid, carboxylic salt, carboxylic ester, carboxylic amide, carboxylic anhydride, and carboxylic imide and (II) at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer having a polyalkylene oxide radical, the pulverulent composition being producible by a method in which a powder component comprising a calcium sulfate-based binder is contacted with a liquid hydrous component comprising less than 30 wt % of an organic solvent, comprising B), the liquid hydrous component being used in an amount of less than 20 wt %, based on the overall mass of the pulverulent composition, and the pulverulent composition comprising no hydraulic binder. A binder composition comprising an inventive pulverulent composition is also disclosed.

The invention relates to a composition comprising 1 to 70 wt % of at least one copolymer obtainable by polymerizing a mixture of monomers comprising (I) at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer which comprises at least one radical from the series carboxylic acid, carboxylic salt, carboxylic ester, carboxylic amide, carboxylic anhydride, and carboxylic imide, and (II) at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer having a polyalkylene oxide radical, 0.01 to 10 wt % of at least one emulsifier, and 30 to 98 wt % of at least one hydrocarbon liquid at 20&#xb0; C. or a hydrocarbon mixture. Also disclosed are a process for preparing the composition, and a pulverulent mixture comprising the composition of the invention.

Composition comprising a copolymer

Suggested is a novel coated particle of active ingredients with controlled release properties at pH-values from 10 to 14, wherein the active ingredient is selected from one or more construction chemical additives for the control of inorganic binders, characterized in that the coating comprises shellac, a process for its manufacture and the use thereof as an additive for mortars, dry mortars, cement slurries and/or concretes.

The invention relates to a process for producing calcium sulphate dihydrate by reacting a water-soluble calcium compound with a water-soluble sulphate compound in the presence of water and a polymer containing acid groups, wherein the polymer containing acid groups comprises specific polyether groups. Additionally disclosed are calcium sulphate dihydrate producible by the process according to the invention, and the use thereof for production of gypsum plasterboard.

Synthesis and use of gypsum seeding material

A dry mortar mixture based on at least one hydraulic and/or latently hydraulic binder which in the made-up and not yet cured state has firm properties is claimed. The novel dry mortar mixture is characterized in that it contains at least one representative of a dispersant and at least one compound having superabsorbent properties. This mixture makes it possible to carry over the advantages of known tile adhesives for horizontal application to vertical application possibilities.

The invention provides compositions containing a salt formed from an acid and from a base, wherein the acid is defined as a polycondensation product containing (I) at least one structural unit including an aromatic or heteroaromatic and a polyether side chain, and (II) at least one phosphated structural unit including an aromatic or heteroaromatic, and polyethyleneimine as base, wherein the molar mass of the polyethyleneimine is greater than 500 daltons. Likewise provided is a process for producing these compositions and building product mixtures comprising the invention compositions. The invention also provides for the use of the compositions as admixture agents, preferably as flow agents, for aqueous suspensions of binders based on calcium sulphate or for aqueous suspensions of (latently) hydraulic binders.

Polyelectrolytic flow agent

Claimed is a cationic copolymer and also its use as an admixture agent for building product systems, especially based on calcium sulfate. The copolymers of the invention effectuate accelerated setting behavior in clay-containing as well as non-clay-containing gypsums and they enable uncurtailed water reduction performance by dispersant agents used at the same time with the copolymers. The clay fractions in the gypsum system are masked by the cationic copolymer, and so the building product mixture exhibits properties of a building product mixture not containing clay. The copolymers are used as a formulation and also together with retarders.

Additive for building product mixtures containing flow agents

Additives for application in construction chemistry are proposed comprising an organic and/or inorganic core component A) with rheology-enhancing properties and a shell component B) applied to the same by virtue of physical and/or chemical interactions which acts as a coating. Component A) should be a of water-soluble and/or water-swellable and/or water-absorbable compound of the non-cellulose type with viscosity-enhancing properties in the final application. The shell component B) should preferably be a film-forming polymer which is able to release component A) during the application in construction chemistry in a retarded manner such as for example polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl acetate and polyethylene glycol. Component B) can be composed of several layers and comprises at least one reactive layer. The new additive is used as an additive with a time-delayed action in paints and also for timed control of the increase in viscosity or development of rheology in building material systems based on inorganic binders.

Additive with applications in construction chemistry

The invention relates to polymer-modified cement-containing building material dry mixes which contain a redispersible polymer powder, water retention agents based on polysaccharide structures, a calcium-containing setting accelerator and a superabsorbent copolymer.
