Described and illustrated is a device for at least partially unfolding package sleeves, having a magazine comprising a stack formed from package sleeves, wherein the package sleeves of the stack are folded flat around at least two folding edges extending in the longitudinal direction of the package sleeves and wherein a gripper is provided for gripping a side of the package sleeves facing away from the stack and for moving, in particular pulling, the package sleeves along a withdrawal transport path with the folding edges into grooves of at least one receptacle of a moulding station and wherein the grooves are spaced so that the folding edges of the package sleeves are spaced apart further in the magazine than in the grooves. In order to further prevent operational malfunctions and allow a more reliable and largely malfunction-free production of packaging bodies which are open on one side from package sleeves which are open on both sides, it is provided that a drive is assigned to the gripper and/or the grooves for moving the package sleeve section gripped by the gripper first along the withdrawal transport path across a groove plane which connects the grooves, then back against the withdrawal transport path across the groove plane, and then again along the withdrawal transport path across the groove plane.

A device for processing, in particular for ultrasound welding, of packaging sleeves and/or packagings includes at least two tools for processing, in particular for ultrasound welding, of packaging sleeves. Each tool has an operating region. The tools are supported in such a manner that there is produced between the operating regions a gap whose longitudinal direction corresponds to the transport direction of the packaging sleeves, and the tools are supported in such a manner that the size of the gap can be changed. In order also to enable continuous welding of the packaging sleeves in a reliable manner with changing material thicknesses, there is provided at least one parallel spring on which at least one of the tools is movably supported transversely relative to the transport direction of the packaging sleeves.

Device for processing, in particular for ultrasound welding, of packaging sleeves

The present invention relates to a foil trap device for debris mitigation, in particular in an EUV system. The foil trap comprises a plurality of spaced apart foils () extending from an entrance side towards an exit side of the foil trap, said foils () being arranged to allow a straight pass of radiation between the entrance side and the exit side. The foils () are coated at least at entrance side edges with a layer () of a carbon material containing a fraction of at least 60% of sp3-hybridized carbon atoms, or with a layer () of carbon nanotubes. As an alternative, the foils () are made of a bulk carbon material of the above composition. The proposed foil trap offers the combination of a high thermal conductivity, a high thermo-chemical resistance against Sn and other liquid metals and a high mechanical stiffness.

The present invention relates to a debris mitigation device for use with a radiation source () generating optical radiation, in particular extreme ultraviolet radiation (EUV) or soft x-rays, and emitting undesired substances and/or particles which can deposit on optical surfaces in a radiation path of said radiation source (), and to a corresponding drive assembly. The debris mitigation device comprises at least one rotating foil trap () and the drive assembly. The drive assembly comprises a driving motor () and a driving axis (), to which the rotating foil trap () is fixed. The driving motor () and bearings () supporting the driving axis () are enclosed in a casing () having an aperture for the driving axis () and at least one outlet opening () for a sealing gas. The outlet opening () is connectable to a pump for pumping out the sealing gas. The aperture is designed to define a gap () between the driving axis () and the casing (), wherein said gap () is connected to a supply pipe () for supplying the sealing gas through said gap () into said casing (). The proposed debris mitigation device allows the use of conventional driving motors and oiled or lubricated bearings without the risk of contamination of the vacuum chamber in which the debris mitigation device is used. This results in an enhanced service life of the driving assembly.

In a disclosed imaging method, the instantaneous speed or data acquisition dwell times of a detector head () is optimized as a function of position along a path (P) of the detector head around a subject (S, SS, SXL). The optimization is respective to an expected radioactive emission profile (EPROI) of a region of interest (H, HS, HXL) that is less than the entire subject. The detector head is traversed along the path using the optimized instantaneous speed or data acquisition dwell times (). During the traversing, imaging data are acquired using the detector head. The acquired imaging data are reconstructed to generate a reconstructed image of at least the region of interest. A gamma camera () configured to perform the foregoing imaging method is also disclosed.

A lamp holder for a dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) lamp (), especially for use in a treatment system or reactor or housing or in an irradiation apparatus, for radiating a medium like a fluid and/or a gas and/or a solid material by means of the DBD lamp () is disclosed. The holder substantially comprises two end caps () at the axial ends of the lamp () and an inner electrode () with a screw fitting (SF) for exerting an axial pressure on both axial ends of the lamp (I) via both end caps () and with axial bores () into an inner volume () for guiding especially a cooling medium and for electrically contacting an inner tube (II) of the lamp (). The holder has a comparatively simple construction and can easily be assembled. Furthermore, even larger tolerances of the lamp length can be compensated and a reliable sealing of the inner volume () against the outside of the lamp () is achieved.
