A control arrangement for a coolant pump of an internal combustion engine includes a control slide which controls a throughflow cross-section of an annular gap arranged between an outlet of a coolant pump impeller and a surrounding delivery duct. A control pump adapts a hydraulic pressure generated in a flow duct. An electromagnetic valve includes a first and second valve seat, a first, second and third flow connection, a closing member and an armature. The first flow connection is fluidically connected to an outlet of the control pump. The second flow connection is fluidically connected to a first pressure chamber of the control slide. The third flow connection is fluidically connected to an inlet of the coolant pump. The first valve seat is arranged between the first flow connection and the second flow connection. The second valve seat is arranged between the second flow connection and the third flow connection.

Control arrangement for a mechanically controllable coolant pump of an internal combustion engine

A magnet pump for an auxiliary unit of a vehicle includes an inlet, an outlet, an electromagnet comprising an armature, a core, a coil and a yoke, a cylinder comprising an outlet opening, and an axial piston which moves in the cylinder. The axial piston includes first and second axial piston parts, a gap arranged between the first and second axial piston parts, and an axial through bore. A first non-return valve is biased between the first and second axial piston parts and against the axial piston. A second non-return valve is biased against the outlet opening of the cylinder. The first axial piston part is connected with/is integrally formed with the armature and is lifted off the second axial piston part. A fluidic connection exists between the inlet and the outlet via the gap when the first axial piston part is lifted off the second axial piston part.

A turbocharger includes a waste gate valve, a compressor, a turbine, a turbine housing which houses the turbine, a bypass channel which bypasses the turbine, a bypass channel section arranged in the turbine housing, an actuator housing which has a separate coolant channel, an electric motor arranged in the actuator housing, a transmission which has an output shaft, a control body coupled to the output shaft, and an actuator cover. The transmission is arranged in the actuator housing. The actuator housing is detachably secured to the turbine housing. The control body controls an opening cross-section of the bypass channel. The separate coolant channel of the actuator housing surrounds a circumference of the transmission and is closed axially by the actuator cover.

A heat transfer unit for an internal combustion engine includes a first channel with an inlet and an outlet. The first channel is configured to have a fluid to be cooled flow therethrough. The second channel is configured to have a cooling fluid flow therethrough. A partition wall(s) is disposed to separate the first channel from the second channel. Ribs extend from partition wall(s) into the first channel and are disposed in a principal flow direction of the fluid to be cooled. The second channel comprises a first section and a second section in the principal flow direction. The ribs of the first section have a first cross section in a first flow-off portion that is constant in the principal flow direction. The ribs of the second section have a second cross section in a second flow-off portion that widens in the principal flow direction.

The invention relates to a throttle plate port whose pivot axis is disposed so as to be axially offset with respect to the throttle plate and whose radial peripheral surface is shaped, at least by sections, in the form of spherical sectors, where in the position which closes the bore the peripheral surface of the throttle plate abuts, in the form of a line, the seat face of the housing. Through this type of eccentric disposition and simultaneous realization of the peripheral surface, the housing can be realized without undercuts and nonetheless precise dosing can be achieved in the case of small pivot angles.

A complete intake unit for modern engines is hereby created, with which achieves a charging optimization and thus a reduction in fuel consumption as well as a reduction in pollutants by a corresponding thermal management in the engine by the exhaust gas cooler () that, together with a shell () of the housing (), is manufactured as a single piece. The individual add-on pieces () are optimally matched to one another and have, due to their designs, a low weight and a low finishing work requirement. This makes it possible to distinctly reduce assembly and manufacturing costs.

Air-intake duct system for a combustion engine

A switching-type intake pipe for internal combustion engines comprises an intake duct with a shorting aperture. The shorting aperture can be closed and opened by a switching flap. The switching flap is connected via a non-rigid connection with a flap lever. The connection between the flap lever and the switching flap is formed by a plate on the one side and a calotte on the other side. Thus, a tiltable connection, which is easy to manufacture and install, is produced between the switching flap and the flap lever.
