An annular slot antenna includes an inner conductor divided by a dielectric gap into a rear section and a front section. An inner conductor of a coaxial feed line is contacted with the front section of the inner conductor and the outer conductor of the coaxial feed line is contacted with the rear section.

A method is provided for manufacturing a radome. The method has the following steps: creation of a contoured fit of at least one section of an inner surface of a wall of the radome; arrangement of a plurality of planar photosensitive semiconductor elements on an outer surface of the contoured fit; placement of the contoured fit with the plurality of planar photosensitive semiconductor elements on the at least one section of the inner surface of the wall; establishing of a connection between the plurality of planar photosensitive semiconductor elements and the wall; and removal of the contoured fit from the radome. This method enables the simple manufacture of a radome with a layer having several semiconductor elements for the electromagnetic shielding of the interior of the radome.

Method for manufacturing a radome

An antenna array that includes a plurality of antenna elements and a method of forming an antenna array. The antenna array includes an antenna baseplate on which the plurality of antenna elements are arranged in a regular grid, and a dielectric wide angle impedance match (WAIM) layer structured and arranged in front of the antenna elements to match impedance for large skew angles. The WAIM layer includes a monolithic material layer from which spacers are machined in a regular grid that corresponds to the grid of the antenna elements.

A stacked microstrip antenna includes two microstrip antenna elements arranged one above the other, and a dielectric separator between the two microstrip antenna elements. The dielectric separator has one or more cavities.
