Systems and methods for configurable dive masks in accordance with embodiments of the invention are illustrated. In one embodiment, a configurable dive mask including a dive mask frame, at least one lens located within the dive mask frame, a display device viewable through the at least one lens, a processor, a dive device data circuit that obtains dive device data from a set of sensor devices, a configuration interface circuit that communicates with configuration devices to obtain configuration data when the configuration interface is above water; and memory storing configuration data and dive device data, wherein the processor receives configuration data via the configuration interface, receives dive device data via the dive device interface, determines a portion of the dive device data to display based upon the configuration data, and displays dive device data in accordance with configuration data.

Systems and methods for dive masks with remote displays

A dive computer with a free dive mode and/or wireless data transmission capabilities. In one embodiment the invention relates to a diving apparatus including a dive computer having a free dive mode, where the dive computer is configured to calculate a nitrogen loading in the free dive mode using a default value which is the fraction of oxygen in air, and where the free dive mode is used when a diver makes a dive without a self-contained underwater breathing apparatus. Another embodiment includes a method of operating a dive computer including recording two or more first identifiers, receiving pressure information from two or more pressure transmitters, the pressure information comprising second identifiers and pressure measurements, determining whether the pressure information contains one of the two or more first identifiers, and displaying a message indicative of the pressure information that contains one of the two or more first identifiers.

Dive computers with multiple diving modes

Dive computers incorporating a variety of features are disclosed. One embodiment of the invention includes a dive computer including a microprocessor, memory configured to store a software application, a pressure transducer configured to determine depth information, and a communications device configured to communicate with external devices, wherein the software application configures the microprocessor to create a dive log stored in memory, wherein the dive log includes recorded information including depth of submersion information recorded from the pressure transducer, and transmit the dive log using the communications device.

Systems and methods for dive computers with remote upload capabilities

Systems and methods for dive masks with multiple interfaces in accordance with embodiments of the invention are illustrated. Dive masks include dive device data interfaces that obtain dive device data by communicating with dive devices. Dive masks can additionally include configuration interfaces that obtain configuration data through wireless communication with configuration devices. Furthermore, a dive mask can have a display processing application which can receive configuration data, receive dive device data, and display dive device data in accordance with configuration data.

A SCUBA air diver computer having an analog gauge with an IR switch mounted thereon which is actuated by a mirror attached to the pointer of the gauge to indicate a preselected pressure reading and actuate an aural alarm.

A scissor coupler, for attaching to a trailer hitch ball having a widest point and a neck, comprising a top plate, a bottom plate, a hinge bolt, and a main spring connected between the top plate and bottom plate. The hinge bolt attaches the top plate and bottom plate so that they can pivot relative to one another from a closed position to an open position. The top plate and bottom plate have top plate and bottom plate bores that have a slightly larger diameter than the widest point of the trailer hitch ball, and are concentric when the top plate and bottom plate are in the open position. The top plate and bottom plate bores are not concentric when the scissor coupler is in the closed position. When the top plate and bottom plate are in the closed position, an elliptical hole is formed therebetween that is narrower than the widest point but wider than the neck of the trailer hitch ball. The main spring biases the scissor coupler to the closed position.

An improved trailer coupler is provided for a trailer having a forwardly extending tongue, which consists of a housing fixed on and extending forwardly from the tongue. A pair of opposed jaws are pivoted on vertical axes on the housing. Each jaw has an inner side formed with a spherical concavity for embracing a hitch ball and a surface for forcing said improved trailer coupler to align with a said hitch ball. A jaw locking bail has a bight portion with a finger tab to facilitate operation of the bail and a pair of side portions, each with an ear extension. The side portions are horizontally pivoted on the housing at the ear extensions at opposite sides of the housing. The ball is swingable forwardly and downwardly from an elevated retracted position to a horizontal jaw-locking position, wherein the side portions completely engage the outer sides of the jaws and the bight portion completely engages the forward ends of the jaws in the closed positions of the jaws. A closure compression spring is located inwardly at one horizontally pivoted ear extension for biasing the bail towards the jaw-locking position.
