A belt load characterization system receives a belt slip detector signal indicative of belt slip, and identifies, in near real-time, a severity level and impact of the belt load characteristics. A notification system generates an operator interface mechanism control signal to surface a notification to the operator indicative of the belt load characteristics, and the severity level and impact of those characteristics. The machine can be controlled based on the belt load as well.

Real-time belt failure detection

A dynamic event detection system detects dynamic events, based on a sensor signal, on a mobile harvester. A dynamic event correction system identifies a correction magnitude, corresponding to the detected dynamic event, and a correction timing. The dynamic event correction system applies a correction, using the correction magnitude and correction timing, to a performance metric value generated from a performance metric sensor.

Near real-time signal correction on a harvesting machine

Modular mounting system for a cotton harvester

A machine is controlled to operate according to a first control configuration. Enhancement criteria values, that are indicative of an enhancement metric, are evaluated based on operation in the first control configuration. The machine is then controlled to operate according to a second control configuration, and the enhancement criteria are again evaluated. The machine is iteratively switched between operating in the first and second control configurations until a signal-to-background-variation-ratio with respect to the evaluated enhancement criteria is sufficient. One of the first and second control configurations are then identified as corresponding to a best enhancement criteria value.

Machine operation enhancement

A chassis augmentation assembly for, and an agricultural vehicle with, a chassis having a main frame supporting front and rear axles has longitudinally spaced chassis mounts attached to the vehicle and a beam assembly having at least one structural beam segment vertically spaced from the main frame. The beam assembly has longitudinally spaced ends coupled to the vehicle chassis via the chassis mounts. The beam assembly is configured to transfer longitudinal forces between the chassis mounts through the one or more structural beam segments.
