In an embodiment a method for producing an inductive component includes applying a conductive material and an insulating material in an additive manufacturing process. The conductive material forms at least one winding having a plurality of superimposed turns and the insulating material forms a carrier for the at least one winding. The turns are connected to form a spiral-shaped winding.

Method for producing an inductive component

In an embodiment a core component includes a base plate, a plurality of members arranged on corners of the base plate and delimiting an inner region of the core component and a center piece located in the inner region and having an oval basic shape.

Core component

An inductive component includes a coil former comprising connection pins, a first winding and a second winding on the coil former, and protective components comprising either a PTC element or a polyswitch. The protective components are connected directly to the coil former; and the protective components and the windings are electrically connected to the connection pins.
