Disclosed is a polyamide composition including 30% to 99.9% by weight of a polyamide mixture as component A). A thermoplastic molding composition is disclosed. The thermoplastic molding composition includes A) from 20 to 96.9% by weight of a thermoplastic polyamide, B) from 1 to 20% by weight of an inorganic phosphinate salt, C) from 1 to 15% by weight of an organic phosphinate salt, D) from 1 to 15% by weight of melamine cyanurate, E) from 0.1 to 10% by weight of a polyvinylpyrrolidone homopolymer, and F) from 0 to 50% by weight of other additives.
