A directional valve includes a fixing lug (), which is arranged eccentrically to a valve membrane () and is arranged at a valve housing (). The dimensions of the fixing lug () are selected for fixing the valve membrane () relative to the sealing surface () of valve seat (). The size of the eccentric offset (x) is in a range between 8% and 15% of the axis length (D) of the greatest longitudinal extension of valve membrane ().

A directional valve for a respirator product includes a valve housing () and a valve seat () for receiving a flexible valve membrane (). The valve seat has a circular and essentially flat sealing surface () surrounding an opening (), which is sealingly covered by the valve membrane during an inspiration phase. A fixing lug (), on the valve housing (), fixes the valve membrane in the valve seat and is arranged offset in relation to the center of the valve membrane, such that an entire circumferential surface of the valve membrane is lifted off from the sealing surface during an expiration phase. The fixing lug is directed essentially at right angles to a flow plane formed by the opening. A counter-support (), within the opening, is arranged opposite the fixing lug such that the valve membrane is mounted with fixed clamping action, between the fixing lug and the counter-support.

Housing for breathing masks

A device for gas analysis includes a detector tube () and can be used in the area of explosive or combustible gases. A filter material, which consists of a granular, porous material and has an impregnation for absorbing toxic gases, is provided between the detector tube () and a pump ().

A filter for a breathing device is flexible and can be manufactured in a simple manner. The filter includes a flexible frame () with a filter port () and with an end piece (). The flexible frame () is provided between two filter mats (). The flexible frame () can be folded over along a bent edge () such that the filter port () and the second end piece () are arranged opposite each other.

The connection of a breathing mask to a safety helmet provides increased wearing comfort. A fastening mount () with circular arc-shaped inner contour () is provided, and the bracket for the breathing mask has a projection corresponding thereto.
