A wireless transaction request may be received by a vehicle from a retailer. The vehicle may validate that the vehicle is located in proximity to the retailer and may receive confirmation of the request from a vehicle occupant. The vehicle may also initiate a payment for the transaction with a server, responsive to the confirmation of the request and validation of the vehicle location. Communications between the vehicle and the retailer may be performed using Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC). The identity of the vehicle occupant may be confirmed using biometric sensors. The payment transaction may be performed using the Automated Clearing House (ACH) electronic network to avoid credit card interchange fees.

Wireless payment transactions in a vehicle environment

A plurality of data streams are received from a vehicle, at least one of the data streams including multimedia data. A prioritization of the data streams is performed according to one or more factors. At least one of adjusting at least one of the data streams and preventing transmission of at least one of the data streams according to the prioritization is performed.

Remote vehicle control and operation

A vehicle and a vehicle battery charging system are disclosed. The vehicle charging system includes a parking structure having solar collector. The solar collector is configured to collect and concentrate solar energy. The concentrated solar energy is then transferred to a solar panel located on the vehicle in order to charge a battery of the vehicle.
