A box for connecting a solar panel to a cable has a generally planar flat base securable to a solar panel, forming a transversely open cavity for connection of elements of the solar panel with the cable, and formed with a laterally open aperture. A flat cover fittable transversely with the base to close the cavity is formed with an aperture forming with the aperture of the base when the cover is fitted to the base a hole that opens generally parallel to the base into the cavity and that is snugly fittable around the cable. A clip fixed on the base adjacent the aperture forms a mouth fittable around the cable extending through the hole and open generally parallel to the base.

Connector for solar module

A box for connecting a ribbon output conductor of a solar panel with a feed cable has a base mountable on the solar panel and formed with a first hole for the ribbon output conductor and a second hole for the feed cable, a removable cover fittable with the base and forming when fitted with the base a substantially closed compartment, and two holders at the first hole oriented at a predetermined angle to each other and adapted to hold a conductive part of the feed cable in either of two positions offset by the predetermined angle relative to the first hole.

Connection box for solar panel

These objects are attained by a box for connecting an output conductor of a solar panel with a feed cable and that has a flat base mountable on the solar panel and having a first opening for the feed cable and a second opening for the output conductor. A contact mounted on a conductor of the feed cable has a flat connection region extending parallel to the base. A contact clip secures the conductor to the connection region.

Slide clip

A contact for connecting a wire to a terminal has a contact part engageable with the terminal and defining a main plane, and a wire part formed unitarily with the contact part and forming in an open position a seat offset from the plane and adapted to receive the wire and lying in a closed position coplanar with the contact part.

Electrical contact with wire clamp

A box for connecting an output conductor from a solar panel with a feed cable has a base mountable on the solar panel and formed with a first hole for the panel-output conductor and a second hole for the feed cable, a removable cover fittable with the base in a closed position and forming in the closed position with the base a substantially closed compartment, and at least one component mounted on the cover in the compartment. The component is something that affects transmission of electricity from the solar panel into an electrical network connected to the feed cable or that affects the microclimate inside the connection box.

A box for connecting an output conductor of a solar panel with a feed cable has a base mountable on the solar panel and having a generally planar floor from whose outer periphery a side wall projects perpendicularly. A cover engageable with the side wall forms with the floor and side wall a substantially closed compartment. At least one holder in the compartment on the floor grips and positions an end of the feed cable such that it extends in a predetermined first direction. The side wall is formed with a cutout through which the feed cable passes. The cutout and holder are relatively spaced and oriented such that the cable extends in a predetermined second direction that forms an acute angle with the first direction between the holder and the cutout.

A contact for the solar-power feed cable having a conductive core surrounded by an insulating sheath has a conductive contact part adapted to be connected in a solar-power connection box to a conductor and engaging the conductive core of the cable. An outer contact ring is crimped to the sheath longitudinally of the cable inward from the contact part and is unitary with the contact part. An inner contact ring spaced longitudinally inward of the cable from the outer contact ring is crimped to the sheath and formed with a strain-relief flange.

Contact for a connection box

An electrical connection box has a base adapted to be connected to a back face of a solar panel and a cover fittable with the base to form therewith a generally closed and weather-tight interior. The cover and base have inner surfaces that confront each other when the cover is fitted to the base. Respective eyes on the inner faces are each formed with an eye having a throughgoing hole of predetermined maximum diameter. A flexible tether cord has a pair of ends and is formed unitarily at each end with at least one arm extending back from the end along the cord at an acute angle to the cord and having a free end spaced from the cord and defining therewith a width greater than the maximum diameter. The tether passes through the holes with each arm engageable with a face of the respective eye.

Connector box for solar panel

A chip-card holder for connecting contact pads of a chip card with connections of device circuitry. The holder has a dielectric holder body engageable between the chip card and the device connections, a plurality of contact elements on the body each having a contact part engageable with a respective one of the chip-card contact pads, a connecting part connectable to a respective one of the device connections and an anchor part, means securing each of the anchor parts directly to the holder body, and an electronic circuit element mounted on the holder body and connected to the contact elements.

Contact assembly for a chip card

A base part has a planar inner face, and a cover part is shiftable on the inner face between a closed position overlying and congruent with the base part and an open position exposing at least part of the inner face. A pair of parallel elongated spring elements extend parallel to the inner face in one of the parts. A pivot in the one part between the center portions carries a nonround cam for movement between a pair of end positions engaging and slightly transversely elastically deflecting the center portions and a through a center position engaging and greatly transversely elastically deflecting the center portions. The cam is connected to the other of the parts to pivot between its end positions and through the center position on displacement of the cover part between the closed position and the open position.

Position-holding pivot/slide mechanism for cell phone

A card holder has a dielectric base adapted to support the card and having an upstanding flange formed with two holes having outer edges spaced apart along an axis by a predetermined distance. A cover is formed with two tabs engageable through the holes and having outer edges spaced apart by slightly less than the predetermined distance. The cover outer edges are formed with respective oppositely outwardly projecting bumps. The tab has at the bumps a width slightly greater than the predetermined width. The cover is deformable such that the tabs can be forced with elastic deformation of the cover through the holes until the bumps pass through the holes. The cover is pivotal about the axis on the base when the tabs are fitted through the hole. A seat on the cover loosely holds the card on the cover limitedly pivotal relative to the cover.

Hinged SIM-type card holder

A card holder has a generally flat and rectangular plastic base fixed to a support, e.g. a printed-circuit board of a card reader, and formed centered on an axis with a pair of pivot pins. A generally rectangular and flat metal cover forming a slot dimensioned to hold the card is unitarily formed with a pair of U-shaped journals each fitting partially around a respective one of the pins and forming therewith a hinge. Thus the cover can pivot between an open position with the cover and the card in the slot partially raised from the base and a closed position with the cover and the card in the slot closely juxtaposed with the base.

Card holder for SIM card

An electrical miniplug has a dielectric body formed with an upper array of coplanar seats and a lower array of seats interleaved with the upper seats and lying in a lower plane offset from the upper-seat plane. Respective upper contacts are each unitarily formed with a flat mounting region lying in a respective one of the upper seats on the upper mounting plane, a rear contact end projecting rearwardly from the respective mounting region, and a front contact end projecting forwardly from the respective mounting region. Respective lower contacts are each unitarily formed with a flat mounting region lying in a respective one of the lower seats on the lower mounting plane, a rear contact end projecting rearwardly from the respective mounting region, and a front contact end projecting forwardly from the respective mounting region. All of the front contact ends lie on a common contact plane.

Electrical miniplug connector

An electrical connector assembly has a socket body and a plurality of conductors having tips exposed at one side of the socket body. A dielectric plug body is formed with a row of straight and longitudinally extending guides open at a front side of the plug body. The plug body is fittable with the socket body with the guides longitudinally aligned with the socket conductors. A plurality of plug conductors each have a rear portion generally fixed in the plug body, a straight front contact portion longitudinally shiftable in a respective one of the plug-body guides, having a tip exposed at the front side, and longitudinally displaceable in the respective guide between a front position and a rear position, and a connecting portion integrally formed with the front and rear portions, extending at least partially transversely, and elastically deformable to bias the plug-conductor tips into the front positions.

Miniplug connector assembly

A contact assembly has a dielectric mounting block having inner and outer faces, and a conductive contact unitarily formed of elastically deformable metal. The contact has a center web set in the block, an inner leg extending from the web past the inner face and elastically deflectable toward the inner face and toward the center web, and an outer leg extending from web and elastically deflectable from an outer position spaced well outward of the outer face and spaced from the web to an inner position extending at least partially inward past the web.
