Various embodiments provide compositions and methods for detecting cancers containing an NRG1 fusion event and treating a patient with a therapeutic agent that is targeted to the NRG1 fusion. Exemplary compositions for treating cancers containing the NRG1 fusion may comprise therapeutic agents inhibiting Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor and/or ERBB2 such as cetuximab, panitumumab, Sym004, MM-151, mAb 806, mAb 528, MEHD794A, gefitinib, erlotinib, lapatinib, afatinib, PD153035, AG1478, trastuzumab, and pertuzumab. In some embodiments, the therapeutic agent may be a combination of trastuzumab, and pertuzumab.

A system of the present invention uses an identity provider to provide the authentication services for multiple service providers. An identity provider communicates with one or more service providers. A user that wishes to gain access to a service provider is authenticated through the use of the identity provider. Methods for controlling online session inactivity timeouts between a user terminal and a server involves the server polling the user's local terminal to determine whether the user presence at the terminal can be confirmed if there is a period of inactivity within the session. If so, or if the server can otherwise confirm that the terminal is secured from use by other users, then the user session is maintained. Otherwise, the user session is allowed to timeout due to inactivity. The server may issue an alert to the user whenever a timeout is imminent, and may restore any information entered by the user prior to the timeout, if the user later returns and validates his identification.

Method and apparatus for managing an interactive network session

An Enterprise Identity Management system includes a registration component, an ownership component, and an audit component. The registration component is configured to associate a user ID with specific accounts that are accessible via a computer system. The ownership component is configured to verify the ownership of the accounts. The audit component is configured to perform periodic checks to ensure the validity of the association between the user ID and the ownership of the accounts.

A method and system for facilitating the management of user identities includes an ownership component, a registration component, and a servicing component. When a user first desires to access a system using the present invention, the registration component verifies the user's ownership of the underlying account by asking a variety of questions. Thereafter, when a user desires to service his account, the user may be re-queried to determine if he is attempting to access the correct information. An authentication and access component provides the functionality to access a system of the present invention. The invention also provides remote purchasers with means for making a secure, confidential transfer of funds; means for immediate initiation of shipment by a seller; means for releasing funds to a seller only after approval of the goods, services, or other value; means for demonstrating proof of payment; and means for having some level of recourse against a remote seller.
