A method for preparing and/or caring for a medical or dental instrument is defined in that the instrument jointly with a connection adapter is first connected to a first preparation and/or care device and subsequently to a second preparation and/or care device. Furthermore, a coupling device is described which is configured to connect a preparation and/or care device for a medical or dental instrument to a connection adapter. A plug-in coupling arrangement and a system are also disclosed.

A method for wireless transmission of data in a medical or dental system which has a foot control and at least two devices which can selectively be controlled wirelessly by the foot control, each device being assigned a specific identification code, wherein a controller provided in the foot control selects on the basis of data packets the device to which operating data are wirelessly transmitted, wherein each of the devices has its own data packet which comprises the specific identification code of the device and an individual rank assigned to this device of a ranking of the devices.

A medical or dental imaging system for generating an image of a part of the head, comprising: an x-ray source and an x-ray detector which move around the head to generate x-ray images at different positions, a tracking device which provides sensor data indicative of any movement of the head during the acquisition of the x-ray images and a computer which generates tracking data based on the sensor data and calculates an x-ray image of the head part based on the x-ray images and on the tracking data to compensate for any movement of the head part during the acquisition of the x-ray images, wherein the tracking device comprises at least one camera and an attachment device for detachable attachment of the camera to the patient.

Medical or dental imaging system with motion compensation

A medical or dental instrument having a metal instrument component and an RFID memory tag having a memory chip for storing data, wherein the RFID memory tag is attached to the medical or dental instrument such that the RFID memory tag is electrically connected to the metal instrument component such that the metal instrument component forms an antenna for the RFID memory tag for wireless energy and/or data transfer. An electrically conductive coupling element electrically connects the RFID memory tag to the metal instrument component forming an antenna, the electrically conductive coupling element having a planar first coupling surface on which the RFID memory tag is arranged and a second coupling surface arranged on the metal instrument component forming the antenna. A method for manufacturing or retrofitting a corresponding medical or dental instrument is also described.
