A crawler dozer includes a main frame having a longitudinal central axis. A push frame includes left and right push beams. A dozer blade is pivotally connected to the left and right push beams. At least one tilt cylinder is connected between the dozer blade and at least one of the left and right push beams. The tilt cylinder includes a larger cylinder portion pivotally connected to the dozer blade and a smaller piston portion pivotally connected to the at least one of the left and right push beams. The tilt cylinder includes a cylinder axis diverging laterally outward relative to the longitudinal central axis of the main frame in a forward direction by a splay angle of at least 2 degrees.

A work machine includes an undercarriage assembly. The undercarriage assembly includes a chassis and a ground-engaging mechanism for rotating around the chassis to move the work machine. A pair of rails is coupled to the chassis. A pair of sliders is coupled to a front-assembly. The sliders are aligned with the rails and movable relative to the rails to facilitate movement of the front-end assembly relative to the chassis.

A blade for a work machine includes a body having a main portion including a top edge, a bottom edge, a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge. A wing portion is pivotally coupled to the body about a pivot axis. The first lateral edge includes a curved edge extending outwardly towards the wing portion, where the curved edge forms an apex between the top edge and the bottom edge. A first axis is defined through a first intersection point and a second intersection point, the first intersection point located at an intersection of the top edge and the first lateral edge and the second intersection point located at an intersection of the bottom edge and the first lateral edge. A second axis is defined through the apex and is parallel to the first axis. The pivot axis is located between the first axis and the second axis.

Work machine with automatic pitch control of implement

A system and method for automatically adjusting the pitch of a work implement attached to a work vehicle, wherein the work implement has adjustable wings. The system and method include moving materials with a blade having an adjustable wing located at one end of a center portion of the blade. blade operatively connected to the work vehicle is positionable with respect to the work vehicle in response to an operator command. A commanded position of the blade is identified based on a blade positioning signal received from the operator command transmitted by an operator control device. An inclined position of the adjustable wing with respect to the center portion of the blade is identified. A pitch of the blade with respect to the work vehicle based is automatically adjusted based on the identified commanded position of the blade and the identified inclined position of the adjustable wing.

A work machine includes a machine frame and a cab supported from the machine frame. At least one pivotal connection between the cab and the machine frame allows the cab to be tilted relative to the machine frame. The pivotal connection includes first and second clevises fixed to the machine frame, the first and second clevises including first and second aligned pin openings, respectively. A pivot pin is received through the pin openings so that the pivot pin is pivotable relative to the machine frame. A viscous mount includes a housing portion, a plunger portion, and a flexible element connecting the plunger portion to the housing portion. The housing portion is attached to the cab, and the plunger portion is attached to the pivot pin between the first and second clevises such that the cab and the viscous mount are pivotable with the pivot pin relative to the machine frame.

An attachment is coupled to the attachment coupler. The attachment comprises an attachment frame coupled to the attachment coupler. The attachment frame has a lower portion and an upper portion. A joint is coupled to the lower portion of the attachment frame and a blade. The joint has an upper surface and a lower surface positioned a distance from the surface. An angle cylinder is coupled to the lower portion of the attachment frame and a dozer blade. A portion of the angle cylinder is positioned below the upper surface.

A work vehicle comprising a frame supported by a ground engaging device. A boom assembly is coupled to the frame. A boom cylinder is coupled to the frame and the boom assembly. An attachment coupler is coupled to a distal portion of the boom assembly. At least one tilt cylinder is coupled to the boom assembly and the attachment coupler. An attachment is coupled to the attachment coupler. The attachment comprises an attachment frame coupled to the attachment coupler. The attachment frame has a lower portion and an upper portion. A joint is coupled to the lower portion of the attachment frame and a blade. The joint has an upper surface and a lower surface positioned a distance from the surface. An angle cylinder is coupled to the lower portion of the attachment frame and a blade. A portion of the angle cylinder is positioned below the upper surface.

A work machine comprising a frame and a ground-engaging mechanism, the ground-engaging mechanism configured to support the frame on a surface, a boom assembly coupled to the frame, the boom assembly having a pair of boom arms pivotally coupled to the frame and moveable relative to the frame by a pair of boom hydraulic cylinders, an attachment coupler coupled to a distal section of the boom arms, and an attachment. The attachment comprises a work tool. The work tool is coupled to the C-frame. A pair of first C-frame sections are pivotally coupled to the frame of the work machine, and a second C-frame section is pivotally coupled to the attachment coupler, wherein actuating the pair of boom hydraulic cylinders engages the boom arms, pitching the attachment upwards or downwards.
