A building panel for attachment to exterior and interior building surfaces, the panel including a casting layer having at least one imbedded reinforcing layer, at least one attachment means extending through the casting layer and imbedded reinforcing layer for attachment to a building frame, and a finishing layer adjacent to the casting layer, the finishing layer being positioned to cover a first end of the at least one attachment means.

Prefabricated, prefinished reinforced panels for building exterior and interior surfaces and method of manufacture

An apparatus comprising a casting ring and base sized and dimensioned to be coupled together to form a cavity having one or more walls comprising an inner surface of the casting ring, having a bottom comprising an upper surface of the base, and having a form receiving member portion of the base extending into the cavity. This embodiment includes an indicator forming portion sized and positioned to form an indicator on a mold produced by at least partially filling the cavity with investment and allowing the investment to harden. In some instances the casting ring may have a lower segment sized and dimensioned to surround and receive an upper segment of the base to couple the ring and base together, wherein, the casting ring latches onto an outwardly protruding shoulder of the base when the base and casting ring are coupled together.

Casting ring

A candle capable of changing color when lighted is disclosed. More particularly, the candle incorporates thermochromic dyes that are a first color at room temperature and a second color upon being raised to an activation temperature. The color change is preferably reversible so that upon cooling, the portions of the candle that underwent a color change return to their original color.

Compression and distortion on a wax pattern during curing are eliminated by employing a thermochromatic dye which changes color when investment material sets. By monitoring the dye, the set investment material can be removed from the assembly before curing, eliminating compression forces on the wax pattern from the exothermic curing process expanding the investment material against the constraints of the assembly.

Method and device for eliminating compression and distortion of wax

The production of high precision molds and castings for dental prosthesis and the like is enhanced with a casting ring and sprue former base constructed of a clear expandable thermoplastic. The ring and base are telescopically interlockable with each other to define a vessel containing a mold form strategically disposed therein so that as investment solution poured throughout is able to cure without detracting from the precise measurements of the mold form to provide a true mold from which precisely dimensioned castings are formed.
