Embodiments of golf club heads, golf clubs, and methods to manufacture golf club heads and golf clubs are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head includes a body portion with a back portion having a back wall portion including a ledge portion defined by a portion of the back wall portion extending outward, a face portion, a filler material in an interior cavity of the body portion, a mass portion, a first port above the ledge portion and a second port below the ledge portion configured to receive the mass portion. The ledge portion extends from a location at a center portion of the back wall portion toward the toe portion edge and toward the heel portion edge. The diameter of the second port is greater than a diameter of the first port. Other examples and embodiments may be described and claimed.

Golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads

Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion having a toe portion, a heel portion, a top portion, a sole portion, a front portion, a back portion, and an interior cavity. The interior cavity may include a central portion, a first internal channel extending from the toe portion to the central portion, and a second internal channel extending from the heel portion to the central portion. A face portion may be attached to the front portion to enclose the interior cavity. A first filler material may be in the central portion of the interior cavity. A second filler material may be in the first internal channel and the second internal channel. Other examples and embodiments may be described and claimed.

Examples of hosels and methods to manufacture hosels are generally described herein. In one example, a hosel may include a neck portion configured to receive a golf shaft. The neck portion may have a transition portion that tapers in a downward direction. An insert portion may extend downward from the transition portion and may be configured to be received inside a cavity of a putter-type golf club head. The insert portion may alternate between a first perimeter size and a second perimeter size before tapering toward a terminal end. Other examples may be described and claimed.

Embodiments of golf club heads, golf clubs, and methods to manufacture golf club heads and golf clubs are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head includes a body portion with a first interior portion and a second interior portion, at least a portion of the first interior portion is separated from at least a portion of the second interior portion. The golf club also includes a mass portion coupled to the body portion below a horizontal midplane of the body portion, a port on the body portion, a first filler material at least partially filling the first interior portion, and a second filler material at least partially filling the second interior portion. Embodiments of golf club heads, golf clubs, and methods to manufacture golf club heads and golf clubs are generally described herein. A golf club head includes a face portion having an outer face portion surrounding a face opening and a face insert portion coupled to the outer face portion to close the face opening. A front groove and a back groove are located at a front surface and a back surface of the face portion, respectively. The front and back grooves define an inner area portion for striking a golf ball. The front and back grooves are configured to enhance deflection and rebounding of the inner area portion during impact with the golf ball. The front groove has a groove length that is the same or about the same as a groove length of the back groove. Other examples and embodiments may be described and claimed.

Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion comprising an interior cavity and a front portion. The golf club head may include a face portion on the front portion. The golf club head may include a face insert portion defining a first channel. The golf club head may further include a face bracket portion having a first bracket arm positioned at least partially within the first channel of the face insert portion. The first bracket arm can have end portions defining a first length therebetween. The first length may be greater than a first channel length. Additionally, the end portions of the first bracket arm may each be attached to the perimeter portion of the face portion. Other examples and embodiments may be described and claimed.

Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion having a face portion for striking a golf ball and an enclosed interior cavity. A filler material may be inside the interior cavity and may reinforce the face portion. The filler material may include a low density polymer material to enable discretionary mass placement to other areas of the golf club head to improve certain mass properties of the golf club head. In one example, a golf club head includes a hollow body portion having a toe portion with a toe portion edge and a heel portion with a heel portion edge. The golf club head also includes a first mass portion coupled to the hollow body portion at or proximate to the toe portion edge, a second mass portion coupled to the hollow body portion proximate to the heel portion edge, and a filler material in an interior portion of the hollow body portion. The distance between the first mass portion and the second mass portion is greater than 50% of the distance between the toe portion edge and the heel portion edge. Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion having a front portion, a rear portion, a toe portion, a heel portion, a top portion, a bottom portion, a face portion, and a periphery. The bottom portion may include a forward portion and a rear protrusion at or proximate the rear portion. A recessed portion is positioned between the forward portion and the rear protrusion and includes a plurality of contoured transition regions defining an opening. A shoulder portion is adjoined to the plurality of contoured transition regions. One or more connecting members extend across the opening to adjoin opposing portions of the shoulder portion. Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head includes a body portion, a crown portion having a composite material, a first groove on a bottom portion extending in a heel-to-toe direction, a second groove on the bottom portion extending in a heel-to-toe direction, a first set of ports on the bottom portion between the first groove and the second groove, a second set of ports on the bottom portion between the second groove and a rear portion, and a filler material in the body portion between the first groove and the rear portion. The filler material at least partially surrounds the first set of ports and the second set of ports. Other examples and embodiments may be described and claimed.

Embodiments of golf club heads, golf clubs, and methods to manufacture golf club heads and golf clubs are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head includes a body portion, a first interior cavity portion, and a face portion, which includes a back surface with a face perimeter portion, a ridge portion extending from the face perimeter portion, and a wall portion coupled to the ridge portion and extending outward from the ridge portion to define a second interior cavity portion in the body portion. The golf club head further includes a first filler material and a second filler material. The first interior cavity portion is at least partially filled with the first filler material, and the second interior cavity portion is at least partially filled with the second filler material. Embodiments of golf club heads, golf clubs, and methods to manufacture golf club heads and golf clubs are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head includes a body portion having a back portion with a back wall portion. The back wall portion includes groove portions extending from a center portion toward a perimeter portion. Each groove portion includes a groove portion depth, a groove portion width, and a groove portion length. The groove portion depth extends into the back wall portion from an inner surface of the back wall portion. The groove portion depth or the groove portion width of at least one groove portion may vary along the groove portion length.
