A first contact piece and a second contact piece interact to give a contact configuration. The second contact piece is singled-sided and can be reversibly deformed. In order to increase the contact pressure of the second contact piece onto the first contact piece, an additional pressure element is provided. The pressure element generates contact pressure acting upon the second contact piece via a deflecting device.

Electrical contact arrangement having a first and a second contact piece

A high-voltage power breaker includes two arcing contact pieces which are separated from one another when disconnected and between which an arc is struck in an arcing area. The arcing area is filled with a quenching gas, where the quenching gas has been heated by the arc flowing out from a constriction point of an insulating nozzle. The insulating nozzle surrounds the arcing area, through at least one outlet flow channel which has a number of areas which the quenching gas passes through successively. The first area which faces the constriction point of the nozzle has a specific flow resistance which is less than that of the constriction point. The first area in the outlet flow direction of the quenching gas is followed by at least one second area, one third area and one fourth area. The specific flow resistance of the second and fourth areas are each greater than the specific flow resistance of the immediately preceding area in the outlet flow direction. The specific flow resistance of the third area is less than that of the second area.

In a high-voltage circuit breaker having an interrupter unit that can be actuated mechanically and that can be driven by a switch rod made of an insulating material, it is provided that the switch rod has at least two segments that are pushed into one another in partially overlapping telescoping fashion and that are connected with one another, the region in which the segments overlap one another and/or the segment having the larger outer diameter being arranged in the region of the greatest mechanical loading of the switch rod.

High voltage circuit breaker having a switch rod made of an insulating material

A high-voltage compressed-gas circuit breaker having a filter accommodated in a separate housing for the purification of the gas in the gas space of the circuit breaker. For easy accessibility, the housing of the filter is attached at the housing of the corner gear of the operating mechanism. The material of the filter is retained in the filter housing by a perforated metal sheet. In certain embodiments, the filter housing has a rupture plate which is locates below a vertically extending perforated tube that is centrally arranged in the filter housing. Underneath the rupture plate, a housing lid is provided for deflecting possibly escaping switching gases.
