A holding frame for an industrial electrical connector for holding similar and/or different electrical connector modules is provided, the holding frame consisting largely of a three-dimensionally bent wire frame. Such a holding frame can be produced particularly economically. The holding frame is used in particular in applications in which particularly high mechanical stability is not required.

Holding frame for an industrial, electrical connector

A holding frame for plug connectors, in particular for receiving similar and/or different plug connector modules, is provided wherein the holding frame comprises or consists substantially of a plurality of holding frame modules. The holding frame is utilized first and foremost in applications in which a certain stability is certainly necessary but no particularly high mechanical plug loads occur. In addition, the holding frame is usable flexibly and is adaptable to user requirements.

Modular holding frame for plug connectors

A system comprises a first plug connector module and a second plug connector module. The plug connector modules each have at least two contact elements. The first plug connector module has at least one spring link. In the unplugged state, the at least one spring link connects the at least two contact elements of the first plug connector module electrically conductively to each other. A method for plugging a first plug connector module with a second plug connector module is based on the first and the second plug connector modules being guided toward each other in the plug-in direction. A sliding element of the second plug connector module presses against at least one spring link of the first plug connector module and, as a result, the at least one spring link is brought out of touching contact with at least two associated socket contacts.
