Method of producing tobacco mousse

An aerosol generating apparatus, especially a personal vaporizer device such as an electronic smoking article, generates an aerosol from a source of aerosol-forming substance. The aerosol generating apparatus includes a receiving portion configured to receive a consumable unit, such as a charge or cartridge including a source of aerosol-forming substance, and at least one locating member for locating the consumable unit within the receiving portion. The at least one locating member is configured to locate or position the consumable unit within the receiving portion such that an airflow path extends along outer sides of the consumable unit and through the consumable unit entering at one end region thereof and exiting from an opposite end region thereof, with the outer sides of the consumable unit being arranged between the one end region and the opposite end region.

Aerosol generating apparatuses and an aerosol generating system

A foam includes a tobacco ingredient containing agent and/or an inhalable agent, an aerosol forming agent, a foam stabilizing agent, and a foam forming agent. In one embodiment, a weight of the tobacco ingredient containing agent and/or the inhalable agent is 0.1-33 wt.-% of a weight of the foam, and a weight of the aerosol forming agent is 10-80 wt. % of the weight of the foam. In another embodiment, the foam forming agent is a non-protein contain polysaccharide and a weight of the foam forming agent is less than 20 wt.-% of the foam.

The electronic smoking device has an access port configured to receive a tobacco mousse formulation into the electronic smoking device. The dispenser includes a dispensing member configured to dispense a tobacco mousse formulation, in particular into the electronic smoking device.

Aerosol generating apparatuses with locating member and substantially surrounding airflow path of consumable unit

An aerosol generating device, includes an inhalation outlet; a chamber for holding a material, the material capable of generating a vapour when heated; a heater for heating material held in the chamber; an air inlet connected by an air inlet passage to the chamber; a vapour-cooling module providing a fluidic connection between the chamber and inhalation outlet, the module configured to cool a vapour passing there through. Suction at the inhalation outlet causes air to enter the chamber via the air inlet, thereby transporting vapour generated in the chamber through the module to the inhalation outlet, such that the temperature of the vapour exiting the device through the inhalation outlet is substantially lower than the temperature of the vapour generated in the chamber. The device thereby provides a means whereby a vapour generated in the chamber is substantially cooled during transport from the chamber through the mouthpiece to the user.
