The present disclosure describes a domestic appliance floor drain assembly and related methods for implementing a domestic appliance floor drain assembly. In one such embodiment, an exemplary domestic appliance floor drain assembly includes a floor drain liner with a basin to collect fluids that may be leaking from a domestic appliance; and a floor drain insert configured to fit within the basin, wherein the floor drain insert has a rigid structure that is configured to direct leaking fluids from the domestic appliance to an opening in the floor drain liner.

Domestic appliance floor drain assembly and method

A sterilizer for point-of-sale credit card readers and keypads. One or more UV-C LEDs are integrated into the housing of the unit and directed at the keypad or other surface. The LED lights shine on the keypad or other contact surfaces, such as a stylus. Because LEDs use low DC voltage, the electronics may be powered by the keypad device power supply. The electronic circuits may be designed so that the LEDs are automatically turned on after each transaction is complete for a predetermined amount of time to kill the vast majority of pathogens that could be transmitted from person to person. The LEDs may be arranged on both the left and right side of the keypad, and at the top edge of the keypad to illuminate all exposed surfaces of the keys.

An improved misting bottle and fan apparatus capable of both convective cooling and evaporative cooling independent of either other. The operator can select to have the convective cooling effects of air being blown over the operator. The operator can select to have the evaporative cooling effects of pressurized fluid forced through a small orifice showered down at the operator. In the alternative, the operator is able to select both style of cooling using this device. The positioning and shape of the atomizing device in relation to the forced air is unique as well as the shaping of the air flow optimizes the cooling effects. Location of the atomizing device is proscribed as to prevent the occurrence of drips and runs commonly associated with misting fans.

The invention describes methods and compositions for alleviating recurrent medical afflictions for which anxiety may cause or exacerbate the affliction. A subject suffering from the affliction is treated with a combination of a pharmaceutical that enhances learning, and a second pharmaceutical recognized to be useful for treatment of the affliction. Representative afflictions include insomnia, erectile dysfunction, female sexual dysfunction, neuropathic pain, attention deficit disorder, and depression.

Compositions and methods to treat recurrent medical conditions

Methods for treating an individual with a psychiatric order with a pharmacologic agent that enhances learning or conditioning in combination with a session of psychotherapy are provided. These methods of the invention encompass a variety of methods of psychotherapy, and psychodynamically oriented psychotherapy, and psychiatric orders including fear and anxiety disorders, addictive disorders, addictive disorders including substance-abuse disorders, and mood disorders. The pharmacologic agents used for the methods of the present invention are ones that generally enhance learning or conditioning, including those that increase the level of norepinephrine in the brain, those that increase the level of acetylcholine in the brain, and those that enhance N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor transmission in the brain.

Acute pharmacologic augmentation of psychotherapy with enhancers of learning or conditioning

Methods are disclosed for improving treatment of various medical conditions via administration of D-cycloserine to facilitate extinction learning. Specifically, by administering D-cycloserine on a post-extinction training pre-sleep basis, subsequent to extinction training during the day, the methods can improve upon the known ability of D-cycloserine to facilitate extinction learning.

The present invention relates to methods of identifying genes involved in memory formation. This is accomplished by performing a gene chip identification of those genes expressed during transcription-dependent memory formation but not during transcription-independent memory formation. A statistical analysis of the gene chip identification output yields a set of genes that are involved in transcription-dependent memory formation.

An apparatus for the purpose of dispensing a chemical agent whose function is to detract or alternatively attract and destroy, insects, in particular, flying insects. The apparatus consists of a chemical source, a connection to a fluid source, usually water, a reservoir for chemical mixing and a pump for mixing and creating pressure. Mixing reservoir is of such size to eliminate any chance of chemical mixture separation and where the chemical mixture is agitated prior to each dispensing cycle. Fluid is disbursed under pressure through a series of atomizing devices, interconnected to the apparatus through a flexible plastic delivery conduit. The Apparatus functions are controlled through the use of an electronic interface. Preferred agent used is pyrethrum based, naturally occurring or synthesized, which possesses an antagonistic effect toward targeted pests but apparatus is designed to be adaptable to a wide range chemicals.

Brush-n-go is the first all in one toothbrush, that can be used away from home as well as at home. This disposable toothbrush is designed to be used many times before replacement is needed. The handle size of the toothbrush will determine the longevity of each toothbrush. My invention is a toothbrush and toothpaste all in one. The toothpaste for this toothbrush will be concealed in the handle. A one way valve will release the toothpaste into the brushes of this toothbrush. Opposite the brush end of the brush-n-go their will be a twist knob to regulate the need of toothpaste, per each use. Simply twist the knob and the toothpaste will be forced out the one way valve into the brushes of the brush-n-go. After use just clean brushes with water and the brush-n-go will be ready to go.

A decaying, propagating reference signal allows for the efficient implementation of various image morphological operations, including grayscale dilations and erosions, with only two passes through the image. Pyramid and other morphological shape operators can be duplicated by varying the decay rate(s) of the reference signal, the offset directions and magnitudes of the comparison vector(s), and the paths and number of passes through the image. The methods may also be performed in parallel on the same input image to generate an adaptive threshold image defined as the biased average of an image separately transformed by a dilation and by an erosion. Applications of the technique in one and two dimensions are disclosed.

Efficient methods of performing morphological operations

A device for selectively manipulating movement of a cursor on a computer display, as with the user's foot. The device comprising a housing, an elongated control stick member protruding through an opening defined in the top wall of the housing, and sensors for detecting movements of the bottom end of the control stick member. An annular guide member supports the control stick member in the housing for pivotable and longitudinally reciprocated motion under selective user control. A helical coil spring resiliently urges the control stick member longitudinally upward from the housing top wall to reposition the stick member after a user-initiated inward displacement.

Foot-operable cursor control device

A cooling member for positioning in the refractory wall of a cupola at a location spaced from a tap-hole has a heat-conductive member, such as a copper plate, in contact with a fluid-conducting member, such as a copper conduit. The cooling member is bent to form an L-shaped member, so that a pair of such members defines a channel at the tap-hole location. Refractory is provided on each side of the L-shaped member and forms the tap-hole on the interior within the channel thus formed. Alternative shapes for the cooling member are disclosed.
