A dual positioned recirculating chute that would allow the operator to run the plant in either closed circuit or open circuit position. While in closed circuit position, the plant will run rock through and the chute will provide as a recirculating chute for oversized rock to travel from the recirculating conveyor back into the feeder hopper for re-crushing. The operator can then reposition the chute to the open circuit position, which will change the direction of the chute away from the feeder hopper and discharge material off the side of the plant. This can be oversized rock material to form an additional stock pile or be redirected to an off-plant conveyor. This can also allow for the removal of trash and unwanted material from the plant cycle without the need for a full plant shutdown, locking out the proper equipment, and manually removing before restarting the crushing process again.

Method and apparatus for reconfiguring a material processing plant

A screen drive for a mobile material processing screen which can be at a travel width without having to fold or disable the screen drive. The screen drive system includes a drive motor, which is tucked at least partially under the vibrating screen; a sheave, having a double row ball bearing being supported by a shaft; a belt, coupling sheave and drive motor; a drive shaft coupled to a first universal joint, and a second universal joint, which is coupled to an opposing end of the drive shaft and to sheave.

A retaining wedge assembly for securing an impeller bar to the rotor of a horizontal shaft impact crusher comprises a recess defined in the rotor and sized to receive the impeller bar. The recess includes a first seat shaped to engage a first portion of the impeller bar and a second seat. A retaining wedge includes a first portion adapted to engage a second portion of the impeller bar, and a second portion sized to engage the second seat. A countersunk slot on the second seat receives the retaining wedge, which in turn cooperates to secure the impeller bar in the recess. Guide flanges may be provided for limiting axial movement of the retaining wedge. Thus, the impeller bar may be supported in the recess prior to start-up of the horizontal shaft impact crusher.

On a vertical shaft impact crusher, a table assembly having a reinforcing ring is disclosed. The vertical shaft impact crusher for crushing aggregate material includes a frame, with the table assembly being mountable to the frame for rotation about a vertical axis. The crusher includes a housing defining an impact surface spaced about an interior of the housing and surrounding the table assembly. The table assembly comprises a top surface, a bottom surface, and a peripheral edge. The top surface includes a central portion defining an aggregate landing surface, with the central portion being adapted to permit outward migration of the aggregate material in response to rotation of the table assembly. A plurality of shoe assemblies are mounted to the top surface adjacent to and spaced along the peripheral edge, with each shoe assembly being adapted to cause the outwardly migrating aggregate material to be thrown against the housing impact surface in response to rotation of the table assembly. The shoe assemblies collectively imparting a downward bending moment to the table assembly in response to rotation of the table assembly. A reinforcing ring is mounted to the table assembly bottom surface, with the reinforcing ring being responsive to rotation of the table assembly to thereby counteract the downward bending moment, whereby the stresses on the table assembly are relieved.
