The invention relates to a steering system in a vehicle, comprising a steering shaft () for transmitting a steering angle predetermined by the driver and an electric servomotor () for producing a supporting driving torque, wherein the servomotor () is coupled to the steering shaft (). The steering shaft () and the servomotor () are accommodated in a common bearing housing (), wherein the steering shaft () and/or the motor shaft () of the servomotor () are accommodated in at least one adjustable eccentric bearing ().

A steering drive for a motor vehicle comprising a steering wheel, a steering column, on which the steering wheel is disposed, a connecting rod, which interacts with the steering column to deflect the wheels of the motor vehicle, an electric motor, which is provided for boosting the steering thrust, as well as a belt drive, the electric motor interacting with the connecting rod via the belt drive. Said electric motor comprises a stator having twelve stator teeth as well as a rotor having ten rotor poles, the rotor poles being spaced apart from each other by an air gap and embodied as sinus poles.

Steering drive for a motor vehicle

A circuit configuration for supplying the control electronics in an electrical machine is specified, which includes a passive transformer circuit, which is powered by a phase current IP of the electrical machine and which generates an auxiliary voltage VA that is used for supplying the output stage of the electrical machine if no battery is present or if the battery is defective or discharged.
