The present invention relates to antimicrobial sanitizing compositions for use as skin sanitizers, especially sanitizers for the hands and feet, and air sanitizers and deodorisers. The sanitizing compositions comprise a combination of three ammonium compounds (ie. an alkoxy silyl ammonium compound, a benzalknonium chloride or benzethonium chloride and a polymeric biguanide) in a non-ionic surfactant carrier. The non-ionic surfactant system comprises an alcohol ethoxylate and an alkylglucoside or alkylpolyglycoside. Methods of use of the compositions are also described.

Antimicrobial sanitizer compositions and their use

The present invention relates to methods of improving the environment within a poultry farming facility including reducing ammonia production in a poultry facility, inhibiting urease enzymes in poultry litter, reducing levels of pathogenic bacteria in poultry litter, improving productivity of poultry farms, reducing or preventing pododermatitis in poultry reared in mass production poultry facilities and controlling pests in poultry litter. Compositions, suitable for use in such methods, comprising at least one microorganism of the genusand at least one biosurfactant wherein the biosurfactant is present in an amount of 2 mg/L to 7000 mg/L are also described.

Poultry farm practices

The invention provides a method for preparing an insecticidally treated textile having improved properties. A novel combination of an insecticide and certain polymeric binder(s) or dye fixatives is used to coat and/or impregnate fabric via a combination of application methods used in the textile industry. The insecticide-binder or insecticide-dye fixative combination and the method by which it is applied to the textile yield a coated fabric and, ultimately, finished goods with improved wash durability of the insecticide over several launderings and prolonged insecticidal efficacy.
