Systems and methods are provided for reducing or minimizing fouling within the primary fractionator of a pyrolysis reaction system. The reduced or minimized fouling can be achieved in part by providing one or more pump-around trays in the primary fractionator below the level of the fractionation trays for an intermediate product produced by the fractionator. Including a pump-around section below the fractionation trays can improve vapor distribution within the fractionation trays, which are believed to have an increased likelihood of accumulation of foulant deposits. Optionally, other vapor distribution devices can be included along with the pump-around section.

A floating dock system can include a base portion, a cradle, at least one guide assembly, and a lift assembly. The base portion can include a lateral deck portion extending along a first plane and defining a boat slip, and at least one float element configured to provide a float element buoyancy force sufficient to maintain at least part of the deck portion above the water surface. The can include a lateral upper portion extending along a second plane, and a support structure configured to support the nautical vessel. A guide can include male and female guide portions. A lift assembly can include a motor configured to move the cradle between upper and lower positions.

Floating dock system

A nautical vessel docking and storage system attaches to a nautical structure. A system includes a cradle having support elements that include lower portions, proximate and distal side portions, and proximate and distal side abutments; a vessel securing element; a hinge for each proximate side portion; and a puller for transitioning the cradle between docking and storage positions.

Nautical vessel docking and storage system

A floating object securement system configured to provide limited movement between a floating dock and a support structure while not squeaking or making other obnoxious noises is disclosed. The floating object securement system may include a slidable base configured to slide along a track that confines the slidable base to only lateral movement generally aligned with a longitudinal axis of the track. The floating object securement system may include a primary movement control member coupled to the slidable base and extending outwardly from the slidable base. The primary movement control member provides limited movement and rotation of the bracket relative to the slidable base about X, Y and Z axes while not squeaking or making other obnoxious noises.

An adjustable self-leveling boat bumper system attaches to a nautical structure associated with a body of water, and includes a longitudinal main guide, a longitudinal adjustment guide connected to a float element, a receiver, a boat bumper connected to the receiver, and an adjustment lock. The main and adjustment guides are oriented perpendicularly to a water surface. The receiver includes a main guide aperture and an adjustment aperture. The main and adjustment guides are moveably engaged with the main guide and adjustment apertures, respectively. The lock determines whether the adjustment guide is moveable. The float element provides a buoyancy force that maintains the receiver and float at a particular position along the main guide relative to the tide level of a body of water.

Adjustable self-leveling boat bumper system

The invention relates to hydrocarbon streams containing impurities such as carbon oxysulfides, to processes for upgrading the hydrocarbons by removing at least a portion of the impurities therefrom, to equipment useful in such processes, and to the use of upgraded hydrocarbons for, e.g., chemical manufacturing.

Hydrocarbon upgrading

A boat bumper is positioned between a nautical structure and a nautical vessel. A main body includes a concave portion and a convex portion. The concave portion abuts the nautical structure and the convex portion abuts the nautical vessel. A boat bumper can optionally include an auxiliary bumper having a first convex part and a second convex part. The main body and auxiliary bumper engage to form a macro bumper with the first convex part abutting the concave portion. Alternatively, a main body includes a male connector with a male shape and a female cavity complementarily shaped to the male shape such that the male connector of another bumper fits within the female cavity to connect the bumpers together. A male shape can be keyed and/or tapered in at least one direction.

A self-leveling boat bumper system attached to a nautical structure can include a floating bumper arrangement having a float element, a float extension, and a boat bumper; and a receiver, fixed to the nautical structure and moveably engaged with the arrangement, or fixed to the arrangement and moveably engaged with a guide fixed to the nautical structure. When floating within a body of water, the float element can provide a buoyancy force that maintains the boat bumper in a static position between, and including, first and second positions, and as the level of the water changes.
