An apparatus for controlling use of an electrical device. The apparatus includes at least one power connector, a first electrical plug, an electrical socket, a lock configured to retain an electrical plug in the electrical socket, a switch electrically coupling the at least one power connector and the electrical socket, and wireless communication circuitry communicatively coupled to the switch and configured to receive a signal for causing the switch to electrically couple the at least one power connector and the electrical socket.

A collapsible hanger includes a left arm, a right arm, and a hook. A hinge rotatably holds the left and right arms together. When in expanded state, the left and right arms extend opposite each other. When in collapsed state, the arms are rotated adjacent to each other. The hook is rotatably coupled to one of the arms in a ball and socket arrangement, and rotatable around the ball and socket arrangement between first and second positions. In the first position, the hook curved end is located above a top side of the respective arm. In the second position, the hook curved end is rotated into an opening and recess in the respective arm. A pin holding the hinge together includes a curved end portion overhanging an outer surface of the hinge to form a clasp to hold a collar of a garment.

An impact resistant shutter assembly, such as Bahama and Colonial-style shutter assemblies, for protecting glass of external openings of a structure, where the shutter assembly is resistant to damage by flying debris from high wind storms and hurricanes, said shutter assembly designed to meet governmental building code requirements for resistance to flying debris from hurricanes. The shutter assembly comprises a generally rectangular frame fabricated of a light-weight metal, such as aluminum, having a pair of side members, and top and bottom members. Extending between and into the side members are a plurality of angled slats, where the ends of the angled slats are anchored within the side members by a pair of rod members passing through apertures in proximity to the slat ends. Optionally, a locking mechanism may be provided to secure a pair of shutter assemblies during the periods of high winds and hurricanes.

Impact resistant hurricane shutter assembly

A Bahama or Colonial-type shutter assembly for external openings of a structure, where the shutter assembly is resistant to damage by flying debris from high wind storms and hurricanes. Storm resistant fixed shutter assembly

An insulated ski glove having an outer shell formed to surround the hand is disclosed. A portion of the outer shell is fabricated from a material which is permeable to water vapor and impermeable to liquid water. The glove is lined with a material having low thermal conductivity, a portion of which is permeable to moisture.
