To hold loudspeakers of different sizes in an instrument panel of a motor vehicle, a holding plate with a cutout for inserting a first variant of a circular loudspeaker is arranged in the wall part of a defroster duct, and the holding plate can, by means of predetermined breaking points arranged at the edge in the direction of the wall part, be detached in order to obtain a further, larger cutout for inserting a second variant of a rectangular loudspeaker.

Holding device for loudspeakers in a motor vehicle

A support part serves is arranged in an instrument panel of a motor vehicle to hold a vehicle data display unit having an integrated navigation or radio unit. The support part has a single-piece frame composed of a magnesium pressure die cast material with a central holding frame for the unit and lateral holding frames for the air outlets. The support part is connected at one side to the instrument panel and another side to the cockpit cross member. Centering receptacles for the unit and further centering receptacles for the air outlets are arranged in the central holding frame and in the two lateral holding frames. Centering elements are arranged on the unit and on the air outlet correspondingly to the centering receptacles of the holding frames.

Support part

A covering element for covering an air duct on a dashboard in a motor vehicle is of one-piece design and has two lateral air outflow areas and a loudspeaker area arranged therebetween. Each lateral air outflow area is subdivided into a central area that can be connected to communicate with the air duct, and at least one further air outlet area, via which waste heat from electronic assemblies can be discharged.

One-piece covering element

A grip consists of two grip shells which can be connected with one another by gluing and in which a supporting carrier is arranged. The supporting carrier has connection elements on the end side for a fastening to a vehicle structure.

Grip for a motor vehicle

In a built-in ashtray, when the cigarette lighter is fitted into a swiveled-up holder, without any special locking mechanism for the holder, an automatic sliding of the ashtray into its closed position is avoided. A spring has a progressive characteristic spring curve such that the spring force, which acts upon the ashtray in its moved-out operative position and presses the ashtray toward the outside, is greater than the oppositely directed force component of the operating force acting in the plane of the spring force during the inserting or operating of the cigarette lighter.

Built-in ashtray for a motor vehicle and method of making same

An ashtray for automobiles exhibits a holder and a removable ashtray that is inserted in the holder, whereby a lifting mechanism is provided for lifting the ashtray from a usage position into an easy-grip position for removal. The lifting mechanism includes an actuator element, which is adjustable at the holder and a transmission element acting together with it. A lifting mechanism exhibiting a simple, cost-efficient construction is created in that the transmission element is in an operating connection with a pivotal lever hinged to the holder in such a manner that, when shifting the actuator element, the pivotal lever makes an arc shaped movement, during the course of which a rounded upper end area of the pivotal lever comes into contact with the underside of the ashtray, and moves it up towards the easy grip-position for removal.

Ash receiver or similar receptacle

The indicating instruments can be shielded against the incidence of light, a top and a bottom cover are provided on a housing of the indicating instruments. These covers are fitted into groove-shaped receiving devices of a front-mounted frame connected with the housing. At the inserted edge, the covers have a flexible strip as well as opposite flexible noses. After the fitting of the flexible edge into the groove-shaped receiving device, an uncoupling of vibrations and a compensation of tolerances are achieved.
