The invention relates to an electrical system comprising: &#x2014;terminals (V+, V&#x2212;) capable of being connected to an installed electrical power source () capable of delivering an electrical voltage between said terminals; &#x2014;a circuit for detecting an electrical insulation fault between the electrical power source and a housing () forming a floating electrical ground. The detection circuit comprises: &#x2022;a controllable voltage generator () capable of polarizing the housing and the single first terminal at different potentials; &#x2022;a current measurement device () measuring current entering on said first terminal and leaving at a point of the source; &#x2022;a control unit () capable of calculating a value of at least one insulation resistance from said at least one measured current value.

Electrical system comprising a circuit for detecting an electrical insulation fault

A system for managing a battery having a plurality of battery cells connected in series, a plurality of control circuits connected in parallel with a battery cell and at least one electrical connection between a first control circuit of a first cell and a second control circuit of a second cell. Each control circuit is capable of emitting a signal representing physical parameters of its respective battery cell. There is a control unit to control the state of the battery on the basis of the signals representative of the physical parameters. There is a power bus electrically connecting said battery cells to one another in series and each control circuit delivers the representative signal via the power bus after reception of a synchronization signal received.

System and corresponding method for managing a battery comprising a plurality of battery cells

An electrical power supply system has electrical energy storage modules and an interconnection interface. Each module includes connection terminals of opposite polarities and an energy storage element connected between them. The interface includes pairs of input terminals and output terminals for a load's power supply. Each pair of input terminals connects removably to connection terminals of a respective storage module. The interface forms parallel branches between the two output terminals. Each includes a storage element. Each branch includes a rheostat in series with a corresponding storage element of the branch. The interface includes a device for measuring current passing through each of the branches, and a control circuit for controlling resistances of the rheostats of the branches as a function of the measured current so as to maintain a current intensity passing through the rheostats to be below a threshold.

Electrical power supply system with alterable capacity

A device for detecting an insulation fault of a direct voltage source that can induce electrocution, including: first and second input terminals for the voltage source; first and third resistive dipoles connected in series between an electric ground and the second input terminal, the first resistive dipole having a resistance at least ten times higher than that of the third dipole; a second resistive dipole and a switch connected in series between the first input terminal and the electric ground; and a detection circuit connected to the terminals of the third dipole, configured to alternately open and close the switch, measure the voltage at the terminals of the third dipole, and determine the amplitude of an insulation fault according to the measured voltages.
