A fluid diverting module includes a multi-position fluid diverting device comprising three-dimensional movable flow-paths with minimal tortuosity in the movable portion (the rotor) of the fluid diverting device. In some embodiments, the device is also equipped with a filtration module that is capable of filtering solid particulates from fluidic samples. The invention relates to an area of non-disruptive sampling from various sample sources including ones containing solids. The fluid diverting device maintains fluid communication between the sample source and a pressure creating device in all positions of the fluid diverting device, thus conserving the pressure inside the sample source during sampling. The sampling operation is controlled from a controller, which is equipped with a software for manual or intelligent control.

Fluid diverting module

A multidimensional chromatographic assembly includes a pump module, an injector, a path selector device, an array of chromatographic media, a loop selector device and a detector assembly for receiving at least a portion of an analyte stream and flowing the injected stream into the detector assembly via a chromatographic medium (the first dimension). At least a portion of the analyte of interest is then channeled into a chromatographic medium of interest (the second dimension) and re-circulated through the detector assembly. The iteration (multidimension) is continued until all aspects of the chromatogram and the peaks are judged to be analyzed. The entire process is controlled from a computer and the results are collected to make decisions on the analytical and the process controls.

Multidimensional peak purity analysis

A sampling module of a fluid processing apparatus includes at least one multi-configuration device connected to a filtration module. The invention relates to an area of non-disruptive sampling from any flow stream including the ones containing solids. The fluid processing apparatus remains in fluid communication with a sample processing module in all configurations of the sampling module and the parameters deemed critical for a chemical process remain unaffected during the sampling event. The entire event is controlled from a computer and the results are collected to make decisions on analytical and process controls.

Non-disruptive sampler for fluid processing apparatus

A fluid processing assembly includes a lumen for receiving at least one inlet stream and dispensing a primary product stream, and an energizing device for supplying energy to an energizable portion of the lumen. A primary product collection assembly is in fluid communication with the lumen for receiving the primary product stream. The energizable portion is positioned exterior to the primary product collection assembly. A pressurized gas source is downstream of the lumen. The pressurized gas source supplies pressurized gas to the primary product collection assembly for pressurizing at least a portion of the primary product collection assembly and the lumen.
