A lighting fixture system, comprising a first illuminant, a secondary illuminant; and a sensor configured to detect a predetermined condition, the sensor being coupled to the first illuminant and the secondary illuminant, the first illuminant and the secondary illuminant comprising different light sources, the sensor configured to cause modulation of the first illuminant and the secondary illuminant in response to detection of the pre-determined condition.

Hybrid source lighting system

A fluorescent or light emitting diode-based system for generating light flux. The system comprises a lamp comprising at least one light source for illuminating an area. At least one of the at least one light source is selected from the group comprising at least one of a fluorescent light source or an LED light source. The lamp also comprises a light source controller electrically coupled with the light source and arranged to control the spectral output of the light source. The lamp also comprises a power supply and a switch electrically coupled between the lamp and the power supply and arranged to control the supply of power from the power supply to the lamp.

Daylight tracking simulator and/or phototherapy device

A hybrid lighting device is described. The hybrid lighting device comprises a solar panel arranged to generate electric power; a wind turbine arranged to generate electric power; an energy storage device electrically connected with the power controller and arranged to store electric power; a power controller electrically connected with the energy storage device and the solar panel and the wind turbine and arranged to transfer electric power; and an induction-based light source electrically connected with the power controller.

A dimmable flex arm lamp for effecting task lamp functions and/or light therapy treatments. The dimmable flex arm lamp includes a base member configured to provide stabilized support for the lamp, a light holding member, a fluorescent full spectrum light removably mounted in the light holding member, a stem with a flexible portion longitudinally extending from the base member, an end of the stem being interconnected with the base, and an end of the flexible portion being interconnected with the light holding member. The dimmable flex arm lamp also includes a dimming control and is configured to effect task lamp functions and/or light therapy treatments.
