A connector bracket for interconnecting roof windows mounted adjacent to each other in an inclined roof structure, one roof window being located below the other roof window when seen in the direction of inclination of the roof structure, is disclosed. A first connecting section of the connector bracket extends in a first direction from a centre section of the connector bracket and is configured for being connected to the mounting bracket on the first roof window in a pivot connection. A second connecting section extends in a second direction from a centre section of the connector bracket and is configured for being connected to the mounting bracket on the second roof window in a fixed connection. The first and second directions are non-parallel. A roof window arrangement where roof windows are interconnected by such a connector bracket and a method for mounting at least two roof windows are also disclosed.

A window system for mounting in an inclined surface of a building, said window system comprising a frame structure and a sash structure each defining a substantially rectangular unit with an inner opening, and where a transverse element extending between side members of the sash structure forms a yoke () in connection with the pane element () and acts as a support of the pane element to transfer at least part of the load of the pane element to the side members () of the sash structure (). At least one glazing support () may be mounted on the yoke (), each glazing support () preferably comprising a substantially plane abutment portion () in contact with the pane element () and a first engagement portion () adapted to engage the yoke ().

Window system for mounting in an inclined surface of a building providing improved load transfer

The invention relates to a connector element for use in a flashing assembly for roof windows mounted side-by-side comprising at least two flashing members. The exterior side of the connector element having an exterior side intended for facing the exterior in the mounted state comprises a gutter with two longitudinal edges each being adapted for engagement with an engagement section of a flashing member. At least two flanges projecting from the interior side, which is intended for facing the roof in the mounted state, and in parallel with the longitudinal edges of the gutter are adapted for coming into engagement with a mounting bracket arrangement including at least two mounting brackets associated with two different roof windows and adapted for a locking engagement with the mounting bracket arrangement thereby fixating the connector element in relation to the mounting bracket arrangement in at least one direction. Each of the at least two flanges are intended for coming into abutment with a surface of one of the two mounting brackets and each flange is provided with two or more curved recesses, each recess being adapted for riding on intermediate members of the mounting bracket arrangement. The invention also relates to method for mounting a flashing assembly.
