A drying method and to a drying device () for a moist material web () which is composed of a textile fibrous material and which has for example been compacted using liquid jets (). The drying device () includes a drying chamber () with an aeration (ventilating) device () and an inlet (), an outlet () and a fluid-permeable conveying device () for the running material web (). The material web () is transported within the drying chamber () by the conveying device () and is dried using a heated gas, in particular air. The drying device () additionally has a suction device () which locally suctions and discharges liquid, in particular water, which is contained in the material web () by a suction flow () at one or more suction locations () at the material web ().

Drying device and drying method for a textile material web

An aerodynamic nonwoven forming device () for a fibrous nonwoven (), the nonwoven forming device () having a discharge region () for fibers, in which the fibrous nonwoven () is aerodynamically formed. The nonwoven forming device () is incorporated in the discharge region () in a furnace (). The nonwoven forming device () has a fiber support () which emits a fiber stream () in the discharge region () into a free area () within the furnace (). The fiber support () spins off the fiber stream () on a detachment area () into the free area () in free flight.

Aerodynamic nonwoven-forming device and process

A method and a fiber-treatment system dry wet or damp fibers. A fiber mat () including wet or damp fibers is formed on a treatment band () which is moved in a conveying direction (x). An air flow () composed of heated drying air is generated in the fiber dryer (). The heated drying air is guided in an upward direction through the treatment band and the fibers contained in the fibre mat () are loosened and dried. Linters () possibly produced by any moving fibers are captured by a filter band () arranged above the treatment band, which is also moved in the conveying direction (x). At the outlet of the fiber dryer, the fibers are detached from a support () formed on the filter band, in particular when guiding the detached fibers back towards the dried fibers guided to the treatment band ().

Textile fiber drying

A treatment device () and a treatment method for a web () of endless material, in particular of a textile fiber material, preferably a non-woven fabric are provided. The treatment device () includes a treatment chamber () in which the moving web () is treated with a flowing gas, in particular air, an inlet () and an outlet () for the web (), and a plurality of chamber regions (-). The plurality of chamber regions (-) are stationarily arranged on top and next to each other. The web () runs through the plurality of chamber regions (-). In the chamber regions (-), the gas, in particular the air, flows against and through the web () from one side.

Treatment device and treatment method

A circulating air oven () is provided having nozzle chambers (), which may be connected to either a pressurized chamber (), or a suction chamber (). The flow direction onto the material web () can be selected by opening or closing the diversion flaps (). As each nozzle chamber () may be individually connected to the pressure chamber () or the suction chamber (), any desired flow onto the material web can be achieved.
