The brake adjustment device positions the brake pedal according to user customization. A base secures to the braking system of the vehicle. An adjustable arm provides two ends, a first end that attaches to the base and a second end that attaches to the brake pedal. The attachment of the base and the adjustable arm adjusts to vary the distance between the attachment end of the base and the attachment end of the adjustable arm. Increasing the distance between the attachment end of the base and the attachment end of the adjustable arm raises the brake pedal. Decreasing the distance between the attachment end of the base and the attachment end of the adjustable arm lowers the brake pedal.

The belt tension idler device increases tension on a belt. A mounting foot secures the belt tension idler to a vehicle. A rotating head that extends from the body of the device contacts the belt to maintain tension against the belt. A tensioning spring biases the device to maintain tension on the belt. The tension reduces slack thereby reducing vibrations from the belt and maintaining proper alignment of the belt.

Methods for configurable and proactive application diagnostics and recovery are performed by systems and devices. A diagnostics manager determines diagnostics packages corresponding to problems described in client device diagnostics requests. Session identifiers are generated and returned with diagnostics identifiers to clients which then provide the session identifiers and diagnostics identifiers to a service manager for session initiation. Diagnostics packages are located, retrieved, and provided back to the client by the service manager that invokes a client-side engine to execute diagnostics packages. Results are provided to the diagnostics system which determines additional packages to be executed by the engine during the same diagnostics session. Further, device-specific tokens are acquired by client devices which execute local diagnostic packages and acquire remote diagnostic packages for execution in the same session. Additionally, diagnostics packages provide their own user interfaces, and local packages are automatically executed upon invocation of help applications.

System and method for configurable and proactive application diagnostics and recovery

In some implementations, a computer may during a repeating interval in a local GCAC node: (a) receiving and storing key data from one or more other GCAC nodes, the key data indicative of resource usage data for each key in the respective one or more other GCAC nodes wherein each key is associated with an allocation limit equal to a number of resources it may use at any given time across all GCAC nodes; (b) storing current key data, the current key data indicative of the resource usage data for each key in the local GCAC node; (c) determining estimated network-wide key data, the estimated network-wide key data indicative of an estimated network-wide resource usage across all GCAC nodes for each key, the estimated network-wide key data based on a combination of the current key data for the local GCAC node and a weighted multiple of the key data in each of the one or more other GCAC nodes; (d) storing the estimated network-wide key data for each key; and (e) repeating steps (a)-(d) during each interval.

Techniques for allocating and managing telecommunication resources

Methods for management of a powertrain system in a vehicle. The methods receive data or signals from multiple sensors associated with the vehicle. Optimum thresholds for classifications of the sensor data can be changed based injecting signals into the powertrain system and receiving responsive signals. Expected priorities for the sensor signals can be altered based upon attributes of the signals and confirming actual priorities for the signals. Look-up tables for engine management can be modified based upon injecting signals into the powertrain system and measuring a utility of the responsive signals. The methods can thus dynamically alter and modify data for powertrain management, such as look-up tables, during vehicle operation under a wide range of conditions.

In one embodiment, a method for thermal management for modular radio frequency (RF) electronics housed within an electronics enclosure comprises: distributing heat generated from an RF electronics component installed on a first thermal region of an electronics module base plate across the first thermal region using at least one primary heat pipe that laterally traverses the first thermal region; distributing heat generated from the RF electronics component to a second thermal region using at least one secondary heat pipe not parallel with the at least one primary heat pipe; conductively transferring heat across a thermal interface between the electronics module back-plate and a backplane of an electronics enclosure that houses the electronics module, wherein the backplane comprises a plurality heat sink fins aligned with the at least one primary heat pipe and the at least one secondary heat pipe.
