A disconnecting device for interrupting the direct current between a direct current source, in particular in the direct voltage range between 300 VDc and/or in the nominal current range between 4A and 250A, and a load. The device has at least one protection switch with a protection switch arrangement having a magnetic trigger, and has semiconductor electronics which are connected in parallel to the at least one protection switch and which block the current when the protection switch arrangement is in a current-conducting state and which conducts current at least temporarily when the protection switch arrangement is triggered. A current, in particular an electric arc current generated as a result of an electric arc, is switched, when the protection switch arrangement is triggered, from the at least one protection switch to the semiconductor electronics.

Disconnect switch for interupption dc circuit between DC power source and load

An example circuit arrangement and method for actuating an electromagnetic drive system for electromechanical devices is disclosed, the example circuit arrangement including a mechanically locked end position, a control voltage source, a regulating and control circuit, a drive system, a transformer, a rectifier bridge a smoothing capacitor, and a main switching transistor, by means of which the drive system can be controlled in a characteristic pulse tracking system. In the example, the main switching transistor is connected in series to a primary branch of the transformer, the transformer is connected to the supply voltage, and the secondary winding of the transformer supplies the rectifier bridge, the output DC voltage of which is smoothed by the smoothing capacitor and added to the voltage of the control voltage source so as to result in a DC voltage feed having a chronological supply progression.

Circuit arrangement for operating electromagnetic drive systems

A circuit breaker having, in a current path, a switching device having a thermal and/or magnetic tripping device for interruption of a current circuit having the current path comprehensive in an event of overcurrent or short-circuit, wherein a functional component of the switching device connected into the current path is bridged by means of a bypass which carries the load current detected by means of a current sensor when the current is below a current threshold, and is shut off when the current threshold is exceeded.

Circuit breaker and method for operation thereof

A mechatronic plug-in connector system having a main contact and an auxiliary contact which lags during an unplugging operation and with a semiconductor electronic which is series-connected to the auxiliary contact and is parallel-connected to the main contact for extinguishing an arc produced during the unplugging operation, wherein the semiconductor electronic has two series-connected semiconductor switches and an energy accumulator which is connected to the semiconductor switches and which for charging taps the arc voltage produced between the semiconductor switches during the unplugging operation. The invention further relates to a multiple plug system having at least two plug-in connectors each having a main contact and a lagging auxiliary contact and with a semiconductor electronic which is common to the plug-in connectors and is series-connected to each of the auxiliary contacts via a diode.

Mechatronic plug-in connector system

An electromagnetic relay, in particular a motor vehicle relay, contains a magnet yoke, a relay coil, a hinged armature which is pivotable about an axis of rotation and on which a moving contact, as working or switchover contact, is retained relative to at least one fixed contact. A piezo actuator is provided, which keeps the working or switchover contact closed when the relay coil is de-energized as a result of the actuation of the piezo actuator.

Electromagnetic relay

A disconnecting apparatus for direct current interruption between a direct current source and an electrical device, in particular between a photovoltaic generator and an inverter, has a current-conducting mechanical switching contact and semiconductor electronics connected in parallel with the switching contact. The semiconductor electronics are non-conducting when the switching contact is closed, wherein a control input of the semiconductor electronics is wired with the switching contact in such a way that, when the switching contact opens, an arc voltage generated as a result of an arc via the switching contact switches the semiconductor electronics to become conducting.

A circuit breaker configuration contains a number of circuit breakers each to be connected via lines to a system component of a power distribution system and a plurality of control buttons with a respective one of the control buttons connected to a respective one of the circuit breakers. The respective control button for the respective circuit breaker passes through a control panel and is actuated from a front side of the control panel. A coupling element accessible from the front side of the control panel is provided for an interchange of diagnosis data and/or parametrization data. The coupling element is associated with the circuit breakers.

Circuit breaker configuration

In order to detect and evaluate changes in current as a result of electric arcs, a sensor signal, differentiated on the basis of time, is produced with a sensor-dependent frequency bandwidth whose upper cutoff frequency is 40 MHz and whose lower cutoff frequency is 100 kHz. The sensor signal is taken and an evaluation signal is produced with an upper cutoff frequency of less than or equal to 10 MHz. The evaluation signal is compared with a threshold value and a normalized signal is produced, and a pulse duration of the signal is extended to a prescribed time value.

Method and apparatus for evaluating rapid changes in current

A circuit breaker configuration contains a number of circuit breakers each to be connected via lines to a system component of a power distribution system and a plurality of control buttons with a respective one of the control buttons connected to a respective one of the circuit breakers. A power distribution system includes circuits each having an electronic circuit breaker as a protection for short-circuits and/or overloads, and a clocked power supply unit. The clocked power supply unit is connected to the circuits and feeds power to the circuits. The electronic circuit breaker has a power stage and an adjustable current limiting device connected to the power stage. The adjustable current limiting device, in the event of an overload, when a first adjustable current threshold is exceeded, turns off the power stage after a first adjustable disconnection time has expired, and in the event of a short circuit, after a second adjustable current threshold has been exceeded, turns off the power stage after a second disconnection time has expired.
