A motor vehicle includes a central light control unit and a plurality of interior light modules, each of which includes a single light source or a plurality of light sources. The motor vehicle also includes a data bus via which the central light control unit and the interior light modules are coupled to one another. The central light control unit is configured to transmit control commands to the interior light modules in order to trigger motor vehicle interior lighting effects, wherein control information, which is included in the control commands and includes at least one color value and one brightness value for the interior light modules, is created based on runtime-variable input data. The runtime-variable input data is based on current ambient conditions of the motor vehicle and/or variable data sources of the motor vehicle.

Motor vehicle comprising a plurality of interior light modules

An illumination device for a motor vehicle includes at least one light source and an elongated waveguide which is delimited along the length thereof by a lateral surface. The waveguide is configured to guide light from the at least one light source along a light propagation direction in a totally reflective manner, the light propagation direction corresponding to the length of the waveguide. The light of the at least one light source can be coupled into the waveguide via a coupling surface at an end face of the waveguide, and a decoupling structure is provided in the lateral surface of the waveguide for decoupling light, which exits the waveguide via an exit region of the lateral surface along the light propagation direction, thereby overriding the total reflection condition.

Illumination device for a motor vehicle

A lighting device for a vehicle includes a light source and a linear light emission element for emitting light, which is supplied by the light source via a coupling surface of the light emission element in the light emission element. A light conductor element is provided for distributing and/or directing light, which is supplied by the light emission element in the light conductor element. The light source is linear and is arranged so as to extend parallel to the light emission element so that light from the light source can be coupled to a longitudinal side of the light emission element in an in-coupling surface in the light emission element. The light emission element is arranged at least partially in one side of an open cavity of the light conductor element and force-fittingly and/or form-fittingly held and also can be detached from the light conductor element in a non-destructive manner.

Lighting device for a vehicle

Interior lighting of a motor vehicle

The present invention relates to a mixer device for distributing and evaporating a liquid introduced into a gas flow, in particular into an exhaust-gas flow, wherein the mixer device comprises at least one mixer vane () which influences the flow direction of the gas flow. The mixer vane has a first vane (') portion and a second vane portion (&#x2033;) which are arranged in series in the flow direction of the gas flow, which vane portions are designed so that the first vane portion diverts the gas flow approaching the mixer device such that said gas flow has a first swirl component imparted thereto, and so that the second vane portion subsequently diverts the gas flow such that said gas flow has a second swirl component imparted thereto, wherein the first swirl component and the second swirl component oppose one another.

Mixer device

A device is provided for the distribution of flowable additives in exhaust gas systems of an internal combustion engine, in particular for the distribution of a water/urea mixture in an exhaust gas system of a diesel engine, having an injection device in particular opening into the exhaust tract before a so-called SRC catalytic converter, with a swirl generation device being provided for the improvement of the mixing of the exhaust gas with the additive in the introduction region of the additive in the exhaust tract.

Device for the distribution of flowable additives in exhaust gas systems

An exhaust gas system for combustion engines is provided having at least one exhaust gas duct, in particular an exhaust pipe, and having an exhaust gas treatment device such as an oxidation catalyst, an SCR catalyst or a diesel particulate filter downstream of the exhaust gas duct, wherein, to improve the efficiency of downstream gas treatment devices, at least one secondary flow duct, in particular a secondary flow pipe, is provided in the exhaust gas duct with a cross-section reduced with respect to the exhaust gas duct which imparts coerced guidance of some of the exhaust gas flow differing from the actual exhaust gas flow.
