A method for manufacturing a tension member, in particular for use in a belt or in a belt segment, having the steps of: preparing a tension member which has a plurality of tension member strands and filling at least some of the intermediate spaces between the tension member strands with a filling material at least at one open end of the tension member, wherein the tension member remains free of the filling material toward the outside.

A belt or a belt segment has a plurality of strength members that extend in a longitudinal direction (X) and are arranged parallel to one another, and a connecting element which forms one end of the belt or belt segment and is configured to be connected to a further connecting element at the other end of the belt or to one end of a further belt segment. The ends of the strength members are held by the connecting element. The belt or belt segment is characterized in that the ends of the strength members are connected to at least one clamping body in a force-fitting manner, wherein the clamping body can be held by the connecting element in a force-fitting manner at least in the longitudinal direction (X).

Belt or belt segment

The present invention relates to a belt or a belt segment having a plurality of strength supports. The strength supports run in the longitudinal direction (X) and are disposed so as to be mutually parallel. A connection element which forms one end of the belt or the belt segment and is configured for connecting to a further connection element of the other end of the belt or to one end of a further belt segment, it being possible for the ends of the strength supports to be held in a force-fitting manner by the connection element by way of press-fitting. The belt or the belt segment includes a part-region of the connection element which is configured as a tool region, in order to serve as a tool part during press-fitting of the ends of the strength supports in the connection element.

A belt or a belt segment has a plurality of strength members that run in the longitudinal direction (X) and are disposed so as to be mutually parallel, and has a connection element forming one end of the belt, or of the belt segment and is configured to be connected to a further connection element at the other end of the belt, or to an end of a further belt segment, or is configured to connect two ends of the belt, or of the belt segment, wherein at least one end of a strength member is connected in a force-fitting manner to a clamping body, wherein the clamping body can be held in a form-fitting manner by the connection element at least in the longitudinal direction (X) through a strength member leadthrough. A strength member leadthrough in the longitudinal direction (X) has a widening facing the clamping body.

A belt end body includes an arrangement for coupling together with a further corresponding belt end body. The belt end body further includes a plurality of clamping openings and clamping recesses for accommodating reinforcement members of a belt in a clamped manner. The coupling arrangement and the clamping openings lie substantially opposite each other when viewed in the longitudinal direction of the belt end body. The belt end body is configured in such a way that the unclamped segments of the clamped reinforcement members are always in the neutral phase during operation.

A belt or belt segment defines a longitudinal direction and includes a plurality of steel ropes arranged to be essentially mutually in parallel and to extend essentially in the longitudinal direction. The belt or belt segment has at least one open end whereat the steel ropes have respective rope segments extending outwardly therefrom. An attachment device is disposed at the open end and is attached to at least a portion of the rope segments via clamping.

A conveyor belt includes first and second conveyor belt portions and each one of the conveyor belt portions includes top and bottom layers made of elastomer material. A reinforcement layer is sandwiched between the top and bottom layers and includes mutually parallel steel cords. Each conveyor belt portion further includes an end section whereat the top and bottom layers are removed to expose the steel cords. First and second part hinges are assigned to respective ones of the end sections and each includes a hinge plate having bores to accommodate the exposed steel cords. The hinge plates are pressed to fix the cords securely in position. The part hinges each include a plurality of crenellated projections at a free end thereof. The part hinges are assembleable to conjointly define a hinge connecting the first and second connecting belt portions to each other.

An annular baler for agricultural use includes at least one annular baler belt made of rubber or rubber-like materials with an embedded core defining a reinforcement. The annular baler belt has ventilation bores which are distributed in a regular or irregular pattern around the periphery thereof and extend through the annular baler belt.

A conveyor belt with a reinforcement support layer consisting of steel cords running in parallel has, at each end, the hinge-like configuration for coupling to another belt end. In order also to provide a hinge connection for steel cord conveyor belts having relatively large cord diameters, each belt end () has a part hinge (). Each part hinge (and) has a hinge bar (and) on which an integrated clamping plate (and) is integrally formed. The integrated clamping plate (and) is seated in the one belt outer surface () of the conveyor belt. On the opposite belt outer surface (), a corresponding, separate clamping plate (and) is seated in each case in the rubber cover layer there. The clamping plate of each part hinge securely clamps the corresponding thickness-reduced belt end therebetween.
